Great advice. My husband and I started the carnivore lifestyle 6 months ago. My husband is down from 255lbs to 220 and off all of his blood pressure medications. He is very muscular and has a goal of 190-200lbs. It’s happening slow and steady and he is never hangry like he was with everything we tried in the past unsuccessfully. I am 55 postmenopausal and went from 115 to 101lbs (I’m petite 5’0). We have never felt better than we do now. Your patients are very lucky to have a doctor informed and supportive of clean keto and carnivore. Our doctors are not supportive so we just say we eat whole foods.

Trying to convince doctors that Carnivore is a good idea. It’s like pulling teeth, so just continue to do what you’re doing and success will follow.

Good for you and your husband! Yes, 1 ingredient food, stay away from processed foods. Makes a huge difference. At 72, I've been Keto now Ketovore eating mostly Carnivore. Also, Intermittent Fasting at least 18 hours a day for 5 years. It's been an amazing process. On no meds either. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. 🙏 💪

​@@DrTonyHamptonabsolutely, Dr. I am not happy with many in the medical field that throw RX instead of finding other ways to help a patient. I think with all the paperwork Dr have to do, they don't have the time? Not sure. I appreciate your approach to health. I saw you on a video with Dr Berry and started following you too. He is where I learned about Keto and IF. 💪 ♥

This morning I was scrolling thru the "deals" on my Jewel app. I clipped 1 item, blueberries. All the rest were processed stuff. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm shaking my head like, this "food" is not good for us. I'm not saying I don’t ever indulge but that's the exception, not the rule. I'm blessed that I found out about Keto and IF 5 years ago. At 72, this grandma says we can do this. 🙏 💪 ❤

This was helpful! I am 5 wks into my use of tirzepatide, and have only seen the scale increase 1# and some ounces. I strength train with cardio 3 x wkly for 30 mins, stay in a 500 (some times +) calorie deficit, track calories, and protein, get 136 oz of water daily (I'm in the 250's), no underlining health issues, no other medications BUT I am stressed and depressed (about not losing) and my sleep is horrible! I'm a mental health clinician, so I know the importance of reducing stress and adequate sleep but never thought it could really be the reason why the scale won't budge. I have seen muscle tone and working out helps with the stress, guess I have to adjust my sleeping patterns. Looking at your responses to other commenters gives me a better understanding that time is and is not of the essence! Not the way I was hoping- Thank you for the video, definitely subscribing!

Not sleeping enough is really bad. It has caused me to get yeast infections. Not enough sleep equals stress and stress means more cortisol. Which for me causes anxiety. If you’re strength training it could be muscle anyways and that’s what you want!! Try changing up where you’re taking your shot. Switch it up from belt to arm or stomach to thigh. That’s what helped me get off my 6 week plateau.

Been on wegovy for 5 weeks. Gained 1.2 pounds in 0.25😢. I work out 5 days a week. Eat right and drink at least 80oz of water per day. I have PCOS /high blood pressure/insulin resistance. Doctor up my does.

For those intake drugs like Wegovy there are many patients who don’t really see the positive effect until the dose is raised, so it is important to increase the dose to see if that will impact your outcomes

(using my husbands computer) I was searching for this answer! I'm on week 11 of Trizepatide. I am not feeling any appetite suppressant (or very little) and still having the food noise. I lost 6 pounds the first week and am up and down with 1-2 pounds since. i've been diabetic for over 20 years. My ears picked up on the last one about people who have been diabetic for a while maybe needing a little longer before they started seeing weight loss results. I'm on my 3rd week of 7.5. Hoping that if i give it a little longer, I will start seeing results! Thank you!

Weight loss and exercise are for me just as you said. I’ll exercise when I loose enough weight to move around and feel good doing it, I’ll stick with it 100%. I had been losing 15lbs a month a number of years ago, I walked everyday because I felt good. I suddenly developed sciatica and had to go to the er for pain relief. I couldn’t even stand up straight let alone walk, but I still lost 15lbs in the month I wasn’t moving. So that told me it was my way of eating that was responsible for my weight loss. 5:59

Peptides are amino acids? How does this relate to carnivore? Ive been carnivore for over a year with no weight loss. Ive loat 18 lbs with trizepatide still on carnivore too. About to go up indose after 2 months. I jave experienced healing with carnivore and even more qith trizepatide. Id like to know more about the connection peptides amino acids and protien

I tried the GPL-1 and did good the first week. The second week I had major side effects on the lowest dose so the clinic felt.it was better if I discontinued the program😢 I lost 8 pounds in the first week

Many of my patients experience side effects with GLP-1 drugs I just don’t think it’s for everybody. 😞

I have hypothyroidism and is really low started wegovy and no lose even 1 pound first week hopefully by week 4 when i go up in dose i will see and change

It’s really important to increase the dose to get to your target so I would give it more time

This is interesting. If you don't mind me asking, how does your body react to the peptide? I ask, because I believe I may have responses to peptide before and was curious what the could look like for others.

@@marhki i’m not sure if you’re asking me but my experience is that I get pretty full really fast. I do get hungry but once I am eating and I’m halfway through the food, I’m just not able to finish it.

I have been in both categories! When I found a feasible program that I could financially afford, I have been on for 5 wks, and no weight loss. I get the challenge in comparing (apples to oranges) but trust me, both are frustrating. I am more stressed and frustrated now, being on and not losing. Not to mention depressed from feeling hopeless about my weight loss, but to your point, at least I am afforded the opportunity to try the GLP-1. I keep getting "trust the process" it's sort of hard to when the process seems to work for so many others but no you. I have tried other options WW, keto/low carb and lost almost 80# and have gained back 40 (not at all saying it doesn't work, it does!) but it somewhat feed my disordered eating. And now I eat more balanced, paying attention to protein and water intake with very limited simple carbs and dread having to go back to break the stall. Sorry! you didn't ask for all that :) Anywho, best wishes on your journey! 💜

All of these restrictive diets are a waste. I tried carnivore, Atkins, Michael Thurmond's 6 Week Body Makeover, Keto, and lost weight, but couldn't maintain it because of the restrictions. If you love bread, you're going to eat it. If you love potatoes, you're going to eat them. These meds should work with a balanced healthy diet. Period.
