Once Vader , he’ll wipe out half of all life in the universe, but feel bad about it. Then sacrifice himself in hopes to bring balance back. Then the galaxy would have to worry about incursions from the from another universe( the multiverse), because people want their kids. (Wanda & Ghost Anakin working together to get their children, they met because they both have a powerful urge to be a parent). *Insert some universal magic explanation* ) But her kids don’t exist in her universe..yet. Wanda going through the multiverse trying to find her kids, fucking things up. (on some Scarlet Witch shit) Dr.Strange ends up working with Yoda (he got so tapped in the light side of the force he felt something wrong far far FAR away he found out about the multiverse by teleporting there by deep meditation) using the stones and Yoda strong force connection to make sure Anakin keeps him arm, yet simultaneously causing universes to collide. He’s basically snapping his fingers in in multiple universes. The Illuminati might’ve been right. Yoda sensing all the deaths in the multiverse and realizing Anakin losing his arm might been better in the long run , yet he was unaware of such a multiverse tragedy could happen [Or was he..]. Intrigued by Dr. Strange’s sorcerer abilities he wishes to learn, and teach Strange about the force. Yoda needs Strange to FULLY understand the balance that is necessary and that him reacting on raw low vibrational emotions with only lead down a dark path, for the whole multiverse. Even though Strange caused incursions already Yoda sees the light in him, for Strange might be his universes “Chosen One”. Anakin eventually meets Luke (his kid, duh) in pocket dimension then realized he he had a daughter he hasn’t met. Luke stirred up some emotions and caused his father to be Darth Vader once more. Wanda , who created the pocket dimension so they could meet. She felt Vader now and matched his energy, being the Scarlet Witch . Now they are traveling through the multiverse to find “her kids”. Vader helps because they get to be destructive, yet that little bit of the light side is still with him understanding her strong wanting to be a parent. Yoda senses Vader is back , even as a ghost he’s causing problems. Dr. Strange also senses something is off , that The Scarlet Witch is more power than he realized . Knowing that they will need help to stop the The Scarlet Witch (a nexus being , only one of her , there are other Wandas though). Strange then explains to Yoda just how powerful she is, and that they will need help. Yoda tells strange to calm his mind and control his fear, for that will only fuel her. After doing what Yoda been teaching, suddenly Dr.Strange had a revelation about the power the force has and just now seeing the just how big and full of things the multiverse is. He knows he has to do something big, he feels like he has a purpose to fulfill in for the entire multiverse. Coming to that conclusion he sees things how they truly are , not by his emotionally dependent perspective. Yoda feels Strange’s connection with the light side of the force become very strong, and thinks he was right about Strange being the “Chosen One” not only for his universe but to bring balance to the multiverse. _____ - fill in the rest

So it made him insecure, and he resolved to fix it in a way that would... make him more powerful... instead of talking to people about these feelings and working through the feeling of sacrifice, the loss of his hand and coming to terms with his new hand, or even removing it and learning how to use his other hand. A lesson in humility and the strength of patience and resilience. The strength of the light.

Also, in the Brotherhood novel, it says that his mechanical arm had a delay. It was almost unnoticeable, only like a quarter of a second, but it bothered Anakin everytime he wanted to move it, and he felt it would never be as good as an actual hand

I've only ever seen him with a long sleeve shirt on, so it covered the joint and I never saw the join location. But if they did that, I can see how that would be annoying. I'm surprised that they didn't figure out how to reattach the arm and have cloned nerves since they would be fried at the removal site. I mean, they can clone a whole person hundreds of thousands of times, but they can't clone some nerves? Or maybe do a nerve graft? Judah folkman started doing that in the '60's if I remember correctly, so the star wars universe has no excuse.lol

@@justincooper5189interestingly enough, growing just an arm is surprisingly harder than growing a whole person but the reason in lore is that it takes too long and they wouldnt be able to do much during the process and the real life version is that they didnt think of it in the original trilogy so they just kept the mechanical stuff for the prequels.

The mechanical arm was weak to force lightning attacks which would cause it to malfunction temporarily while on combat. Anakin did come to terms with his new arm. Even tinkering with it to increase its effectiveness. Padme didn't mind it. Which makes me wonder what their sex life is like with Anakin's robot arm. one guy I know is it can be a bit strange due to the thought of the really not existing there.

One of the things that don’t get mentioned about the arm is that it allows the user to feel touch and that they are really strong. So it’s not like Vader didn’t have any loss of sensations.

I think that was due to a lack of technology in the 80s to make the same style mechanical hand cuz in every other movie after ESB, he has the same mechanical hand, even in a brief part in RotJ where he pulls his glove back to check on the mechanics.
