Another really useful video. Very interested in the idea of hybrid working and having a foot in both camps so you keep in touch with the world and more importantly your clients worlds. Also , not rushing the process of becoming a therapist. This is hard to do when you’re excited by the prospect of a total life change. Thanks for making these John-Paul. Look forward to the next one 👍

You’re really welcome Richard, thanks for saying, yes all these possibilities in terms of the way we can work, being able to shape it to suit personality too. Enjoyed hearing about it myself 😊 Should be recording the next one on Friday with Lou Lebentz, who does such a range of interesting things, think you’ll enjoy it. Thanks again, John-Paul

Very interesting video. I have been desperate to change career for many years, so I started on a psychotherapeutic counselling course in Sept 22 but by Jan 23 I had quit the course. I found juggling my, over 30 year, career as a self-employed graphic designer very difficult, with regards to finance/cash flow, and time. All exacerbated but my own self-doubt, I have no academic experience. However, I will be starting a new course (different provider) later this year (2023), and will be trying very hard to make it work this time. I’m 59 in a few days so feel this is my last chance. Thank you

Hi Gary, thanks for your comments, it’s good to hear from you. I think Robert mentioned how tough the training can be, many people find that. I really hope the next course works out well for you and do let me know how it goes if you feel like it. Thanks again for your comments, I appreciate it, John-Paul
