Anthony Scaramucci, a Wall Street veteran and former communications director in Donald Trump’s White House, joins Francine Lacqua and Bloomberg Opinion columnist Adrian Wooldridge on this week’s In the City to explain why he thinks a second Trump presidency would be “dangerous.” He also talks about why he isn’t voting for his former boss and why he doesn’t think the majority of Americans will either.

Is London having another moment? Shaken by Brexit, decimated by the pandemic, threatened by new ways of working and a worsening cost-of-living crisis, the city remains Europe’s (and arguably the world’s) beating heart for finance and for culture. In the wake of turmoil, The City of London is reinventing itself. Every week on In The City, Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua and David Merritt go behind the scenes in the Square Mile and the wider metropolis, uncovering the stories and speaking to the people that matter.

Spot on. Per Prof. Lichtman, polls are meaningless. Polls don't vote and have built in bias. Wait for Lichtman's call based on this 13 keys. If 6 or more of the keys are false, the incumbent or incumbent party loses. Lichtman says it's too early to make the call, but he has opined that "a lot would have to go wrong" between now and election for Biden to lose.

Donald added 8Trillion to the U.S debt, his tax cuts were not revenue neutral (accompanied by cuts in the spending for the same amount). This meant that there was money printed. This robs savers of their purchasing power, people who own equities and commodities will do ok because they, unlike dollars can't be printed. In the 1970's much of the inflation was blamed on OPEC however a significant part of it was due to the cost of the Vietnam war. The Iran and Afghan wars also led to money printing. Whether or not voters will understand this or not remains to be determined.

The connection between Plessy v Ferguson, Brown v Board of Ed and the divide in Congress was quite powerful. Race is a central issue in America, but money and class is the number one issue, hence the commentary on the national debt. As for Trump, I find it inspiring that people hundreds of miles away from the US can see the danger of Trump, and can articulate the simple truth that bad people = bad leadership. And if you follow them, then you become what you behold.

WHOA! I knew Scaramucci is smart, and this interview certainly reinforces it. As much as I hope he's right, about trump's impending loss, I have my doubts. I liked his analysis of politics, economics, the duopoly, and long term planning that politicians SHOULD do to fix the debt issue. Had Scaramucci not been trampled by the trump train, he could have very successfully moved up through political positions, maybe even as a future president. Why might he consider that? Well, in part because after 11 days seeing trump behave like 'Chance the gardener' in Peter Sellers comedy 'Being There', Anthony must have realized ANYTHING is possible.

I'm astonished his heart hasn't given out yet, he's constantly on something. You'd see the dilated pupils every time he had to give a speech or face the reporters; one eye would be a slit and the other, dilated pupil like he was ready for an eye exam.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS!!! THINK CAREFULLY IF YOU CAN…THE FUTURE OF USA IS AT STAKE!! DEMOCRACY IS IN THE HANDS OF TRUMP and THIS DEMAGOGUE WANTS HIS HEROES PUTIN, etc to help him RULE the WORLD,!!!

I like Scaramucci, but he's got the polling thing exactly backwards. In the states that will matter (Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, and hopefully Florida), I believe people are less likely to report they are Trump supporters. As Scaramucci correctly explained, Trump has sky-high negatives throughout the country (especially in these swing states where politics runs hot) and there is a definite risk in publicly announcing (confessing) that one has even mild affection for the guy. Scaramucci may be correct about a Bradley Effect this time round, but if there is, my bet is it will be contrary to his optimistic expectations.

This was a very good conversation with Anthony Scaramoochi. I enjoy listening to him. Very intelligent man. Everything he talked about IS EXACTLY WHAT RFK, JR IS TELLING US. EVERYTHING! And that is why I'm voting for RFK, Jr.

A vote for RFK is mostly a vote for DJT. RFK cannot win. He is a spoiler candidate. You have a binary choice and it is easy if you are pro democracy. Biden.

@@morningsky8045 mine, Anthony Scaramoochi and anyone else who actually listen's to his video's on KZbin. You should listen to what HE IS SAYING. Problem is to many people like yourself don't listen to what he's saying. So you and them know nothing. Only what you THINK you know.

That is exactly what the Washington establishment wants you to believe. If everyone in this country voted for RFK, Jr. Neither Trump nor Biden would win. Would they. But don't worry. The Washington elites. The political establishment will make sure an independent never gets a chance to run ever again. After Ross Perro ran they thought they made it impossible for that to happen again. They will continue to keep the Washington establishment open for business as usual because the American people don't know any better. They sure have the American people brain washed.
