While I know the meme about purple. I have to ask, as a lover of stealth and sabotage tactics, are there actually Sneaky Orks? I feel like there should be even if they are primarily weird boys to some effect, but it is hard to dig for that information through the memes. I would honestly be interested in a weird Ork warboss that ostensibly phases in and out of reality utilizing belief in the Waaagh for stealth or something like that, or potentially Sniper Orks who take prefer suppressed miniguns because it allows them to hear their opponents screams/warcries better. Heck I'd even settle for a squad of grot saboteurs who go sneak beneath enemy vehicles to attach bombs. I know Orks are supposed to be loud and attention grabbing, but there are always exceptions. I'm mostly just curious about this considering the name/concept of the video.

@@Larper64 Have a look for Boss Snikrot. He's a very sneaky Ork that prefers to ambush his opponents with a nasty pair of combat knives. He's a leader of a faction of Kommandos that are notorious on the world of Armageddon. Both his old metal model and his plastic update are really nice sculpts too in my opinion.

Squad of boyz in a trukk, one standing on the roof carryin' a pair of choppas ready to jump off onto other vehicles and get medieval on them, another with the biggest shoota he can lean out the window with, and the third is a mek with a nasty little ork blasta in one hand, and the steering wheel in the other. All three of 'em are happy to chuck krak bombz out of the windows at pursuers, too.

Now I'm thinking Kingdom Hearts orks, and despite the tone shift it works surprisingly well. A magic bashing stick that also opens any lock because it's key-shaped, piecemeal spacecraft that can be customized to range from majestic battleships to just a cockpit and a thruster, and getting a power boost when making allies even if said allies aren't in the fight. I wonder what the orkish equivalent of "My friends are my power!" would be, or if Sora's hairdo would fit an ork.

I love that the Bloodaxes are the "grand strategy" faction of the orks, all because they make a plan before the fighting starts. Now these plans are rarley more detailed than "Da humies haz a big ol' wall in da way, so we'z gonna strapped some bombs to da grots and throw 'em at da zoggin' wall while we charge and shout Whaaagh!" The orks are my favorite faction in 40k and what I love is how the sheer grim darkness, the sheer edginess (I say that with love) of the other factions just make the Orks even funnier! Like you have this sheer zeolot angry Black Templar spouting prayers and glory to the empire of man while this ork hits him with a dune buggy he strapped a grot to the front of. The sheer manic insanity of them could work in so many settings but the grim darkness of 40k make them shine like the nuklear mushroom clouds of insanity they are. Even though my soul belongs to the Architect of Fate (And the other Ruinous Powers), Da Orkz are such a FUN race. The Grimdarkness of Warhammer such as The Imperium and the dying of The Eldar, Da Orkz never fail to just make me happy with their funny way of talking, their inventions and their power of belief But also Da Orkz can be emotional like Ghaz losing the rivalry with Bale-Eye to a certain someone. Thank you so much for such an inspiring video! For a long time I could not decide on my favorite faction, since 2004 when DoW appeared and I generally learned about Warhammer. And after reading a bunch of lore books, discussions, games and thoughts, I came to the conclusion that the Warhammer orлs are a lifestyle. Their philosophy of life, on the one hand, is very stupid and banal, on the other hand, this is the main meaning of existence. Movement, action, fight, and never give up. And enjoy life through movements and actions. Through defeats and victories. The result is not important, the main thing is to be in the moment more often. I haven’t decided on a clan, but in the big Waaagh there are no mono-clan organizations! Orks are inspiring! It's a pity that my level of English does not allow me to read the book "Warrboss" by Mike Brooks. But "GDa big Dakka" is already in the process of translation)

Seeing you Ork-urai stuff you showed just before making this channel already gave me an idea for my own personal army. But recently, Another thought came to my head. One of my favourite games is Spyro 3, And the first game's antagonist was an Orc. Then I thought: "What if I made a 40K diesel-punk version of Gnasty's army, Using the various enemies as the base idea for the models, With Gnasty himself being the War-boss." @@ZeroAngel92 Just thinking on this, I even had the idea for Ork-ifying enemies that *weren't* originally Gnorks. My prime example? What I call: The Lanturn Cultist Grot & Khorn Squigg. Inspired by that horrifying fiery hell hound and the lantern fairy from Dark Passage. With the lore being that the Lanturn grot basically preformed a ritual to imbue a Squigg with the powers of a Khornian demon. The Khorn Squigg is equally as likely to kill the lanturn grot as it is to listen to it. Killing the grot will also kill the Squigg, Due to the warp energy being kept in check by the grot. A symbiosis where one wants to kill the other? Yep, That's a Ork idea if ever I heard one.

My favourite thing about orks is there weaponization of non weapons. Starting with my favourite gun thematically in the rules the Bubblechukka, a gun that shoots unstable force field bubbles that pop with forces ranging from harmless breeze to tank flipping booms. Teleporty blasta, a device that randomly teleports whoever it is fored at, harmlessly a step to the left?, 500 meters up in the air?, inside a wall? Who knows thats the fun. The Shokk attack gun, weaponized warp travel, it opens a wormhole between the barrel and the target and throws snotlings through the warp sending them mad so they arrive as crazy biting slashing beasts. Good stuff

Right, I main Tau, Guard and Chaos with some Custodians and Votann…. But I love Orks with a passion! Their lore is goofy, their characters are insane, their tech is pure comedy for how it works and every Ork player I’ve met has such beautiful kitbash models it’s incredible! A local kid at my hobby store kit bashed his old Tonka Toy trucks into Wagons and speedsters! When he asked to use them the entire room lit up with “We’d be mad if you didn’t!” It was wonderful! Shame his rolls were crap that day, but that’s what you get when you play Big Dakka!

Well, GimGam, if you wanted your Orky pitch to work, I'd say that (on me at least), it's working great! I love all the Ork clans, but my personal favorites are a tie between the Freebootas and the Goffs. Admittedly, the latter's mostly for the Rockas and the rocket boyz, but I appreciate some dead-hard toughness in my mushroom people. I admit, I've mostly watched the Orks from afar, but I grow more interested the more these videos come out. Keep it up, Glitzdakka, you're doin' great!

I love Orks. I got into them with GorkaMorka and started building my own vehicles (mostly from MASK toys), because the originals had too little loading space for all the scrap parts. Since then my Ork army has grown more and more and only dew sets are build as in the instruction. My Waaaghboss is riding a T'au Ion Cannon into battle. Let's be honest: Every release is an Ork release (except for codices - I remember using the 3rd edition one for nearly 10 years).
