@Netherite0_0 XR is kinda meh. The 13 seems to be holding up really well still even with the software. I had my back glass and screen replaced on my old one and honestly the only upgrade I experienced was color and size. The camera island is not obstructive.

@@Slime_on_a_rock if you are a gamer or need that area of the screen specifically I see your point. But just watching videos or browsing or listening to music that island works pretty well. Holds the timer too so you can see it while it’s counting down. If you are viewing horizontally the standard crop on iPhone takes the camera into account. It’s only when you zoom in does the bump become more noticeable

I love my iPhone 15 plus . All I use it for is Google ,Facebook, KZbin, eBay, and as a phone . The bigger screen is nice because I don’t see as good as I used to. I looked at the pro max , but didn’t really need the extra options. I like the aluminum frame of the plus and longer battery life . The camera is not as good as the pro , but I’m color blind, so I can’t tell any difference anyway. The 15 plus was definitely the right choice for me .

You’re not missing much. I went with the 15 Plus too. The camera, realistically, is only better if you actually use the features. I don’t even fully utilise the 15 Plus’s camera. I like the big screen as you said, and the battery life is great. There’s not much reason for me to want a 15 Pro Max. It’s just a heavier version of a 15 Plus, with a couple extra features which are really only beneficial for actual pro users.

There is no way to place the Pro series camera module in a 5.4" body. For the current Pro series with a 6.1 body, the camera module takes up almost half of the body, remember that the battery also needs enough space to place it.

Another thing that annoys me is them getting rid of buttons, I got the SE phone which has a button but all other products don’t have the home button anymore. I really preferred this feature, especially because I draw and animate a lot on my device and every time I have to swap tabs; when I swipe it ends up creating a big line on my art or animation 😢

The 1st generation SE was my favorite. It fit my hand like a glove, in fact, I could operate it with one hand and bought twins. Apple went back to that design afterwards. Love the design of my 11 pro max and the size of the screen, but, it would be the perfect phone if it had the same thickness. still in stainless steel, but with the boxed design

This too. Aluminum is weaker and therefore less premium than titanium, but it is lighter, so it does go along with Apple’s game plan to make all their devices thinner and lighter again. We’re still early on into the rumor mill though, things could still change. Maybe the ‘aluminum’ rumor is pertaining to the internal chassis of the Slim, since the current Pro iPhones are titanium only on the outside but have an aluminum frame.. time will tell!

Aluminum is better. It is less brittle than titanium so better at shock absorption and heat soaking. Shoud I also mention the titanium phones is a 99%-aluminum-1%-titanium alloy?

I had a mini 2 weeks, I returned it due to battery life. I exchanged it for the 13, I like my 13 but honestly being older I still need a larger screen so most of the time I use my older iPhone 8 Plus (it has a new battery). The max iPhones are heavy, iPhone 8 Plus is not and it’s thinner. It’s battery life easily serves me all day. I won’t purchase iPhones anymore due to the loss of a sim card slot. In my work I switch between the Android and IPhone weekly so I must use a physical sim.

I pay little attention to what they propose, because when they promote a device, it,often doesn’t live up to their promises. I purchased an iPadPro 12.9 and it worked fine until recently when I noted that its battery life had diminished significantly, to less that half of its initial battery life. Assuming that the battery was malfunctioning, I checked into the Apple Store, and connected with an Apple Tech. After a few minutes of his diagnosis he determined that the short battery life was due to “being on KZbin too long, stating that the enhanced resolution of KZbin was causing a faster decay of battery life”. I responded to him, stating, “then I assume the iPad Pro wasn’t Pro enough to handle the higher resolution’s of Pro Apps”. I now advise all who will listen, do not use iPad Pro 12.9 or higher for any Pro level Applications. I’m a little curious how using its “LIDAR” whistle & Bells would last?

Apple and all phones are way too expensive over 1000. They have just about run out of things a phone can do , no reason to buy new every year maybe every 6 . I had a 8+ and waited till 14 pro max came out . I liked the 8 about as well ! Now I’ll wait for the 20 model .

@@danieldanieldanielUvuI will add another reason, I feel that apps run more optimally on IOS, since the iPhone only has a few models (compared to the millions of Android models out there), so it is easier for apps developers to optimize apps on the iPhone. One example is that Instagram runs optimally on iPhones, compared to 1 million megapixels camera on Android, when photos uploaded to Instagram will still look like sh*t, that's why most influencers or celebrities use iPhones. That's just one example of an Instagram application, not including thousands of other applications
