I am so glad you liked them. The pictures are by an artist in Austin, Texas. She has a series called Robots in Rowboats, but they do not all have rowboats. You didn’t mention the calendars. I remember you seemed to be really interested in the military aircraft. I used to always see you wearing the same shirts while doing your videos. I should have picked out different ones. 😜

I didn't quite catch what they called you, but I think I heard your first name. You are kind and amazing. Your gifts were so thoughtfully chosen. I have loved ones and roots in Texas. This was a generous and beautiful act. Please don't concern yourself with any of your choices. They seemed very moved. I respect and admire what you've done. Sending all the best to you and your loved ones.😊💖

I think we Americans know that you are not our enemy. That the North Korean people are victims of a ruthless regime that gives their citizens the choice to either blindly comply or suffer unthinkable consequences. The fact that those conditions exist at all should cause a deep sense of shame to all of humanity. What you are doing with this channel may appear to be a form of entertainment on the surface, but we know that it is so much more than that. That it is a fist against the regime. We support you!
@Fos3tex2 жыл бұрын
I was going to say the same thing essentially. We love the North Korean people and have no ill will towards them. It is the oppressive government they suffer under that we despise. We support the North Korean people!

They left their families behind. They sacrificed everything for a taste of freedom. How could we Americans not care about them? :) It's practically the story of the USA. We risked everything to throw off the shackles of the English Throne for the right to forge our own path.

as a former marine i believe that we Americans are raised to respect soldiers and that means no matter where your from in the world a soldier in the eyes of an American is protecting their country and we will always respect soldiers of other country's because we understand the hardships you go through to be a soldier and what it means to protect the ones you love and what you believe in

Many of us in America understand that people are people and are not to be judged by their government or country. I sure as heck wouldn’t want to be judged by our government of the last 5 years. People should look for what connects them instead of what divides them.

@Goldun-nah2 жыл бұрын
Really the last 2 decades even till now lol they’ve all been pretty lousy lol. People over politics. We are not our leaders. When I step outside I don’t see what the left/right media tries to portray. I see everyday people typically minding their business smiling and trying to carry on and helping when we can. We always got some bad apples but mostly it’s the 90 percent of kindness and goodness I see in real life that makes me forget about the bs. We should look to each other for empowerment more than we look to people in power to unify us. ❤️
@Souledex2 жыл бұрын
@@Goldun-nah you don’t see it cause you aren’t in hospitals I guess. Or morgues. Over the last 20 years there have been around 20 million preventable deaths that weren’t addressed effectively due to a lack of health insurance. Or caught to late, or they didn’t take a day off because there’s no National vacation and medical leave policy. Conservatives don’t like thinking or talking about it - but they are 1000% to blame for it, that includes conservative democrats or democratic sellouts. It’s nice when you completely ignore the lived realities of millions because someone was nice in the supermarket. That shit can fly to teach kids in elementary school but people who actually give a shit about others hold those who endanger them accountable.

You both seem like such wonderful people and I am so happy and proud that you are being treated so well by my fellow Americans.
@WelbyIsYourGod2 жыл бұрын
I think one of the reasons so many Americans love you guys is because of patriotism. You served your country (even though it was not the best of circumstances) and many Americans take pride in that. We also understand that you were not given the same freedoms that we are given, yet after serving in the military you made even more courageous moves that endangered your lives to seek out the freedoms we have and often take for granted. That is truly admirable and I wish nothing but the best for you.

We are nice to everyone my guys! I love watching foreign reaction channels like Reactistan and DIMPLE. I mostly like to find out how people live in the countries America has had problems with (this is the best way I can desribe it.) The North Korean State is our enemy but only because we want their people to be free. Thats all we want. We want more friends to trade with and make each other's lives better. Same with the Middle East. The people are not our enemies, they are our friends. The state or the religious leaders are the enemy of their own people.

I was stationed in South Korea as an army infantry soldier, I caught the part where he said thank you, lol. I never did pick up much of the Korean language. We had k.a.t.u.s.a. soldiers( Korean augmentees to the United States army) basically south Korean soldiers placed within our American army platoons, to train amd learn American military ways. Not too long after I arrived in country my platoon received several new k.a.t.u.s.a's. They couldnt speak any English and it was hard times for the guys. Army guys really are not too patient or nice, so ya... After about 6 months my k.a.t.u.s.a. buddies were nearly fluent in English and made fine soldiers, definitely differnt types than American men but still great guys. Watching you two really brings me back to the late 90's. Wish the best for you both!!

Hopefully, shows like this will help spread the truth about America. One of the first things foreigners say is how nice and accepting Americans are. A lot of Asians believe we are giants when they come here. Being polite and drumming up conversations with strangers is strange for a lot of foreigners. One of the biggest things to take away from this is that the American people do not consider the people of most countries as our enemies. It saddens us to see the citizens of other countries suffer under the regimes of dictators and communists. It's one of the main reasons why we police the world. Please continue these shows in hopes that more people will learn the truth.

In all of these Dimple episodes, we hear North Korean refugees such as yourself wondering about why Americans are so kind to you when you visit our country. The answer is simple; when we look at you, we see the faces of our ancestors. Each and every one of us are descended from people who fled an oppressive home country, to find a place where they have rights an opportunities that they could never hope to have anywhere else. I look at you guys and I'm reminded of just how lucky I am that my forefathers had the strength and courage to come here, and build a new life for themselves and their descendants. And I thank you guys for that reminder. Please come visit our country again, we love having you!
