I really don’t think it’s complicated. People saying the balance of the back row, the only reason it’s unbalanced is because of injuries. Our starting 7’s are out in Curry and Underhill and even the third choice, Haskell wasn’t available the first 3 games. Then our 3 8’s were out. Billy V was out, Simmonds got injured 20 mins into the second game and Hughes was out and had to be rushed back when he was no where fit, he hadn’t played for his club in months. If you take the first 3 choice 7’s and 8’s from any international team they will lose. I don’t believe it’s over worked it’s just injuries. This isn’t going to be the team in 2019 so stop panicking😂😂

Raw Rugby thanks, coming from you guys means a lot. Keep up the good vids👍👍 we also didn’t have marler, genge, slade, Tuilagi, Nowell, youngs, Sinckler, lawes, Hartley for large parts or at all

Tom Harding leavy was 4th choice going into the 6n for Ireland for 7 nvm all the injuries as well as England
@Tom_Harding6 жыл бұрын
jamie m O’Brien and van de flier who was the other 7 above leavy? But it still doesn’t compare to England’s injuries. This England team is completely different to the one that will be picked in 2019 is the point i’m making.
@Jamie-ee4ll6 жыл бұрын
Tom Harding Ireland had marmion on the wing with larmour and ringrose in centre and carbery at fh for the last while against England.Kinda says it all really. I just don’t think that injuries were the only reason why England underperformed. With the depth of players you’d have compared to other countries missing players can’t be the only excuse

kiwi here, you should've started brown. he'd be one of my first picks on your team especially against connor murray who just loves to box kick. Ya back row is rubbish atm but there are a number of quality players there and don't underestimate the quality of brad shields you've got a real gem coming and he will probably end up captaining the side at some point. Seems like you need a new attack coach as other than farrell brown and daley there isnt much of a think tank in the back line. Lions tour chat is rubbish it was the end of last season and no one cut the abs any slack when they toured the NH last year and it hasn't effected Wales and Ireland during the 6 nations.

90% of England Fans would pick Watson over Brown. Brown never passes which costs many tries. Back row is rubbish because 1st and 2nd choice players at 7 & 8 are injured.
@vinniechan6 жыл бұрын
Brown has done the team a great service but Elliot Daly has to be the future FB for England. Let's be honest our mid field has been a dumpster fire for so long whoever plays our back three are hampered.

Coming from an England fan, I'd say the difference in the Home Nations arent that much to begin with if u consider the results of individual match ups in last year 6N. Far too many games last year England only managed to run home with the game when the team brought subs and doubled down on power and finally we hit a brick wall when there's no marginal gain by bringing in even more power. Fatigue is an issue, but the argument of club system is that it produces depth. England bring that depth to bear and u can't blame others for that. and back row and mid field have been huge issues for a long time and we swept it under the rug. Haskell and Robshaw are good players who can chip in at the break down but u can't rely exclusive on them to compete there and Lawes doesn't have the game reading to play 6. Hughs is undercooked and Sam Simmonds can't play 8 with Haskell and Robshaw. Even when England won the grand slam in 2016, no one in his sane mind would believe Ford-Farrell- JJ are the mid field combination u bring into the game against the AB

I'm sorry ask, but who's the Irish bloke on the left of the screen? Jim calls him B-Mac I think, but I can't quite figure out who he is... Thanks in advance.

I totally disagree about the comment about people hating the English when they are playing well. I am welsh and a lover of rugby and enjoy seeing England play well as I enjoy seeing any team play well. The moment that I have trouble appreciating england or moreso the english critics-fans is when they are losing and are on the back foot. England has most certainly got a bigger share of bad losers than any other nation. Even the french can be very gracious in defeat !! I think that the openside flanker (No 7) is one of the most important players on the field and for quite a few years now England have been lacking in this position whereas most of the other top ten world ranked teams have had world class players. The first three that come to mind over the last few years are mccaw,pocock and warburton and the list goes on and England have not had anyone to match those levels for quite a while and if you want to turn over ball this position needs to be filled. Robshaw was a far better player than I could ever of dreamed of becoming,but he pales in significance to these other guys. If you look at the moment to the welsh 6 to 8 with Navidi,tipuric and moriarty that is a damn good solid line yet it is still missing faletau,so not only is great,but the depth is great too. I never ever thought that I would see the day when wales actually had more quality depth in any part of the field than England. Something has gone drastically wrong for you guys and well managed you should not really be dropping to a world ranking lower than number 2 or 3 at the lowest. Oh well , can't grumble !!!!

Fair assessment, I do think the English players need a rest. There are also alot of injuries to contend with. I don't agree with other countries not liking England because they are successful, let's be real, they haven't been that successful. The reason other countries enjoy seeing England fail is because of a perceived arrogance on the part of England.

I think the English players are not getting enough rest. The system is wrong. Just my Irish view
@vinniechan6 жыл бұрын
English system produced depth and when the coach doesn't play the strength of the system by rotating players he has himself to blame.

I dont buy this. They won back to back 6Ns last season (including a grand slam) with the same premiership season. Players like Itoje and Farrell, who didnt have the best 6N this season, have been excellent again since going back to their clubs. Personally I think the training has been too harsh in camp

Yeah right England's the team to play your not thinking straight mate, but if you say so, England was ranked second in the world behind NZ mate second is just the first place loser and England got there without playing the ABs so yeah everyone wants to play England if your not from NZ cause ill say everyone wants to play and measure themselves against the worlds dominant rugby team the ABs, so you must be talking about the six nations teams im guessing. Or maybe there are team's that dont want to play the ABs but a lower ranked 1st teer nation like England to measure themselves against. PS i wonder if thats the case.?
