My wife and i had an experience in Madurai in 2017. We were already married by then. we went on a bike from Bangalore and we were wearing all our riding gear. When we reached tried checking in they clearly asked if we were married. I was taken a back. They explained to us that the hotel doesn't rent out rooms to unmarried couples. Luckily i had a scanned copy of our marriage certificate and that sufficed . An adult can vote by 18 and if you think that they have the sense to decide who will govern the country then they have all the rights to privacy with whomever they chooses. Its not for the society to judge them .

However the story also needs to be shared with the side effects of love hotels. e.g. 1. some of the hotels have hidden cams (what's the use if intimate moments are shared on the internet - the movie Ludo underlines this) and 2.
