He was with 1 axle at the end of the trailer and the other in the cargo bay going backwards unloaded...He was lucky to get any injury, but the machine was totaled,is an easy way to kill a guy. Very nice videos al always!

The local businesses fix load rates . They know damn well you will take one just to cover your costs to get to a better area. Its damn price fixing & the same the world over . Trucking is the only service industry who gets told a rate for a job by a customer instead of telling any customer how much it will be. Could you imagine calling a plumber & saying I want some new pipes & this is how much I am gonna pay. It needs fixing.

Freight in Florida is always cheap out cause its a end state for Freight. More trucks deliver Florida then what comes out. Only time that changes is produce season. Always remember any state that doesnt have alot of industry will always be a freight dead zone. Same with Colorado and parts of the north east. Also watch out for loads in Savanah or south ga as all the trucks from Florida will deadhead to ga for a load increasing truck capacity in the area. Also the south is always bad in the winter cause alot of drivers and owners wont run in the north or midwest in the winter

Rusty, This is your business. Those numbers on DAT are just what the broker wants to pay. If you aren't bidding higher, that's your fault. There are plenty of truckers / OP making great money in your area. You did right by leaving Florida to get a load in Savanah Georgia But.... You can make Way more. You are shooting yourself in the foot and keeping the rates low. Go watch Just Truckin and see how Justin does things. Also watch Sammy. Justin runs you market and makes 7 to 12k a week. He posts his rates and his load boards too. Don't be out there for free.

Exactly! Any driver that says they don’t haul cheap freight is lying, you can’t always book high paying loads. Sometimes you end up in a cool market area and need to get out.
