Why are my Tein Flex Z's making noise on my Tesla Model 3 and Model Y? Check description for the fix

Couldn't you use a thrust bearing such as one from Milkway Motorsport to allow for rotation of the spring? It's not a fool proof solution as that can also bind with major sediment, i'd say good for most use cases.

exactly a thrust bearing would be more ideal on the top of the spring so that it won't collect sediment as much as being underneath it. There's other issues with that as well not to mention cost and this is an affordable product. In the description i've added a link to another thrust sheet silencer that might resolve the issue at a very low cost. We're testing it right now.

Is this only for the tein? Does the MPP have this issue?

No it doesnt. There was a revision last year as well to avoid this.

My EnduraPro Plus makes noise. I'm also curious if this is the reason.

No the Enduras use oem springs and rubbere seats so it's not the same issue. If your shocks are making noise it would likely be something totally different. Talk to your installer to chase it down.@@bob774

No it would not be this. Endura uses oem spring design and oem components so any noises would be something totally different.

There's a thing Swift Coilover Thrust Sheet Kit Obviously this guy talking got no experience in suspension. So should be making video about cleaning shiet that issue will come back.

The irony in your statement is that there is a thrust sheet already present beneath the spring. We have also tested other ones as well without success. Tein has provided an alternative solution that seems to work well in conjunction with the already present thrust sheet/washer. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge though. You are correct that the noise can come back but rather than using a lubricant, which will only attract more dirt, the brake fluid cleaning method will actually help longer term and easy to implement . There are other solutions at play since the thrust sheets haven’t worked on this application.
