Cool Video, i like it a lot it was very refreshing and something new compared to the Videos you normally have, glad to see they make some use of those old Schools. Over here is crazy, they leave them to rot till they can't be used anymore and then try to sell them to someone that has to renovate. Problem is, renovation would cost so much that its cheaper to Destroy the Building and rebuild, but because some are so old they fall under monument protection Laws and can't be Destroyed. In the end Investors just buy them cheap, then wait and hope they just get Destroyed over time to the point where there is no monument to protect anymore, just have to wait to the point where accessing the Building would be Dangerous.

It's so awesome that the old school is being reused for something quite cool. I wish there was more of that here in Australia. Old buildings here usually get left to rot and get torn down when they become unsafe. Sometimes there isn't enough money to do anything with an old builder that people want to renovate and reuse. On the other hand its scary the population is gradually decreasing there, lower birth rate being the main cause from what I have heard. Safe journey to the next city :)

Hey Nomad san, what sort of van are you looking at to start with, presumably a kei-camper like "coupy" or similar? How about a few videos just looking at some & brainstorming a first step towards that goal, keep it alive & real. Please get in touch with Chris Broad & suggest a moped journey using kei campers as support vehicles & show them how it is done. An update on Maeda-sans health would be appreciated, his creativity & kindness has been pivotal to getting this far, please let him know we are hopeful for a rejuvenated "turbo injected" no version of himself imminently! ..I would like a proper video your of his workshop & projects, ideas for the camper, he is clearly likes a project to get into, so he ought be on board for some renovations such as a decent bit battery bank & solar, plus a small set up for summer van air con, a bit like coupy!

I'm struck by how often Japan borrows full American words in their speech, like "coworking space". At least that's what I thought I heard him say.. but this is a really interesting property. Glad to see it being reused rather than sitting dormant and becoming a blight on the local community. Here's hoping there will be a return to rural spaces once they modernize a bit.. enough to give young people the benefits of an urban space with the beauty and peace of rural life.

Japanese society really respects its people. Whereas, in the USA, its really run like screw the citizens. You can see it in this video where the set up is user friendly at the school. The needs: shower, common kitchen etc. and its clean- because people are clean. On the flip side, The needs are considered last or its setup to squeeze every penny from the people in the U.S. or its dirty as hell- the hygiene of Americans are dirty. They eat with their hands. Don't wash face before eating, throw trash everywhere. Just look at the side of the road or the parking lot. or the McD's tables. Just night and day.

Zero Coke, also known as Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and regular Coke are both soft drinks produced by The Coca-Cola Company. While Zero Coke may seem like a healthier alternative due to its lack of sugar, let's dive deeper into the comparison. Regular Coke: 39 grams of sugar (High Fructose Corn Syrup in the US) 140 calories Linked to various health issues, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and tooth decay due to its high sugar content Zero Coke: Artificial sweeteners (aspartame and acesulfame potassium) Virtually zero calories May be beneficial for those managing calorie intake or blood sugar levels However, consider the following points: Artificial sweeteners can have negative effects on gut health, potentially leading to metabolic issues and weight gain. Some research suggests artificial sweeteners can confuse the body, leading to increased cravings for sweet tastes. Lack of sugar doesn't necessarily mean Zero Coke is healthy; it still contains unhealthy ingredients like caramel coloring and phosphoric acid. Both Regular and Zero Coke contain no essential nutrients. Ultimately, the American Heart Association recommends that women limit daily sugar intake to 25 grams and men limit it to 36 grams. If you're looking for a healthier alternative, consider: Water Seltzer water with natural essences Infused water Unsweetened tea or coffee
