Point of correction, our beloved brothers and sisters in America and other part of the globe are not coming here in Ghana on the basis of development, contrary to your view point, I think their motives moving to Ghana and Africa as a whole mirrors their true love for the motherland. Taking into account, it's a step in the right direction because we need each other as a family. JUST A TIP: Never look at things through the lens of prejudice because it gives birth to resentment which fuels the engines of hate. ✊🇬🇭

There are more beautiful places in Ghana than what was shown in the video. Our people are still a happy people though some of our roads are not tarred yet.
@abdullahrasheed1493
@abdullahrasheed1493 2 жыл бұрын
There are many roads in America that are not tarred. If I took a video and just filmed and showed the worst places in the USA the world would be in shock. It would be like watching a horror movie. I have traveled to and from Africa now for nearly 25 years. I recently returned from. Senegal. My wife is Gambian. In the late 1970s I was stationed in Europe in west Germany. 2 yrs in one place and about 4 Months in another. While there I traveled around to different cities and towns and saw good, bad and ugly. I met a military officer who was African American and his wife was a white Germany. She visited America with him and was robbed and the experience left her scarred. She said that she would never go to America again. I know of Africans who go to America and be shocked to see White Americans living under bridges or freeway overpasses. They find it shocking to see Whites on the streets begging for money. They see a different image of what had been engraved in their minds about America. Same thing they often see when they go to Europe. Some make it. Others end up on the streets themselves. Sometimes prostituting or begging or whatever to survive. It is important to know that anyplace you go will have good, bad and ugly. So as he said. Visit first. Some African Americans have a overly romantic view of Africa. And they make emotionally charged decisions and lose their rational minds. And then unfortunately find themselves in trouble. Take your time. Do your research. And visit more than one place or at least different areas. What works best for one may not be best for another. But please visit Africa.

Its not only Blacks who are relocating from Amerikkka,in recent times I am seeing more White Americans relocating to other Countries coz they too are seeing that the US is neither the beginning nor the end.Some are moving to Equardor , Portugal, Bali,Thailand while others are happy to be expats in Africa.My own Country Zimbabwe is seeing more expats from the US arriving to do business coz there is now lots of business opportunities in Energy sector and Industrialization.Others are building Tea factories,Fence manufacturing,Steel manufacturing,warehouses etc.Plus Real Estate is about to take off from 2022 onwards.They are thinking ahead and making their own moves in silence,yet some of our people are happy to remain in lands run by their oppressors and cry for acceptance.If you start hearing white Americans recognizing that racism in the US is pervasive ,then it obviously is,then when you see them relocating to other nations for a better future,then it proves they can sense something fishy is unfolding. Those with eyes can see and do something about it

It is a huge exaggeration to say so many are moving to Ghana, it is not up to 5000 that ahe relocated in the last 5 years, many are being used to sell a fake romanticized dream, to poeople who do not have the finances, plans or business acumen required to survive in Africa. Many expect American standards in Africa.
@jaycameronofficial
@jaycameronofficial 2 жыл бұрын
Much of what you say is very true about romanticized dream, etc. On the flip side, many people are visiting and choosing to relocate. I meet them all of the time. 5000 is actually a low number if you consider the people who live in Ghana and other places. Sadly, many people are being left behind from the economic investment perspective because they are looking at “Africa” through American colonized eyes. When people with maturing eyes come and visit, they see all of the opportunities and make an informed decision. Over the next 10 years, Accra, Ghana will be a major vacation destination. All of the development is a major indicator.

Why must borders be removed when they are there for good purposes. Criminals, mischievous people and people with bad intentions can do whatever they want and never get caught? And the continent will be ungovernable, and we don't want that. Strange you ask that question because humans are not like animals, they are cruel and everybody need to have their territory as has been in billion of years, just like in the Bible. Why do people want to gather somewhere and leave their compounds behind? And why do suddenly demand removal of borders in a continent full of political violence, wars and failing states. Mhh uhmm Africa need addition of borders. People treat Africa like a country, it's a hell of huge continent with 55 countries and over 3000 tribes and languages with lots of differences in everything on earth. Countries who want to merge, are free to do so for themselves. But not forcing others in a gravy for no reason. We are all free to live how we want to. And there's a lot of unstabilities in many countries of Africa, of which they should be worried and fix that, than worrying about uniting the huge continent. 🌍

It's a slow moving process but so far in my life I have been moved around African Americans who studied during the 60's and they helped me to come over to the side of my history that was hidden. My eyes and mind has never been the same. All positive and do important for all African Americans to learn your roots. My next destination is going to Africa. I have much respect for those African Americans that act on their convictions and leave the US for Africa. Most just complain and continue to suck off of the freedom and security the US provides for them.

More slaves ere brought to Latin America and the Carribeans and lastly I'm not for a movement that fouces only on one version of blackness I'm for indigenous and melinated people of Eastern societies, and for Eastern Europeans and those who share the struggle such as the Afhagns. Being black simply doesn't cut it for me.

I like what the white anchor said "what are we doing wrong here that they don't feel welcomed here" and the emigration of 5000 black Americans to Ghana being an indictment on America.They all had very important things to say:knowing your roots and knowing if it's for you or not for you 😜
