I appreciated Pastor David's comments. It got me thinking that some pastors have the same values as some of these rappers. They rap about the money and the women. It's kind of ironic to me. His comment about spending more time on the cover up than the confession reminded me of a pastor friend of mine who is now with the Lord. We were at a pastoral get together with other pastors and he told all of them, "I've been watching porn on the internet". My first reaction was that he should not have told everyone present. But the reality is he was tired of sinning in secret. He was gonna just put it on the table. If he ended up losing his church over that, then would they rather he just cover it up well?

Every year, mega-church pastors should spend a month serving in a small village church, away from the media, fame, and branding. This shift helps them refocus on the true hero-Jesus-and reconnect with humble, authentic ministry. At the same time, it offers village church leaders who aspire to be "brand pastors" the chance to see that impact in ministry is not about fame or image, but about faithfully serving Christ in any context. This exchange would foster humility, shared growth, and a deeper understanding of true mission.
