Dr Frank, its been 6 weeks since I last smoked marijuana. Your videos have been a great help for me, and so I want to thank you. It hasnt been easy, but the last 2 weeks Ive really started noticing a great change in my mental wellbeing. I had been smoking weed daily for about 7 years, and the last year or so it made me so depressed. But now Im finally feeling happy again. Not only that, my gut health has also improved. The urge to smoke has completely vanished. So long story short, thank you.

Man when you proposed the question “Do I smoke because I’m bored? Or does cannabis make me content with being bored?”, that really hit home for me. I quit for 3 months last year and wound up falling back into it. I didn’t alter my day to day habits at all and was living the same boring life, just minus the cannabis. Thanks for help opening my eyes man. I’m 1 week in and feel better equipped this time around ❤️

Day 3 for me and it’s getting a little rough with the increased anxiety and i feel like I’m going to vomit but i realized it was making my anxiety worse and i needed to make a change. It shows what it does to you when detoxing for sure. I recently got some cbd oil hoping it helps with some of this anxiety stuff cause I’m strugggggggling. Finally made an appt with behavioral therapy too for an eval. I’m 46 and have suffered from anxiety for as long as i can remember self medicating is not the answer. Hope i can stay strong! Living in a legal state doesn’t make it any easier either

Hello Frank, just wanted to say thank you for getting me out of daily use that had been ongoing for a few months. Being a fairly new smoker I don't think that I could've developed CHS but I felt I was. Gag reflex, nausea, poor appetite, etc. Its only about day 5, but i'm sweating less and less so I'm hoping im nearing the end of this torture. Wishing you and all others in this comment section who need some support, all the best.

I quit a long term chronic marijuana addiction. The insomni was so bad, I almost relapsed. I went so long without sleep. I was having a mental breakdown. I literally thought I was going to die. I never been so afraid. Admittedly, I had to use a little help from C. B. D to get through it. I have never felt so alive. It feels like I could fight the whole world and win. This is unbelievably amazing. I feel unstoppable. You guys could win. You can/must overcome this addiction. It's your flesh versus your spirit. This is a battle we need to succeed. At all cost. Wish you all the best of luck.

You use CBD flower or tincture?
@michaelhernandez32204 ай бұрын
@@snehalkrishnan618 You wanna start off taking full spectrum CBD. It has trace amounts of t h c. Not enough to get you in that state but you don't wanna cut off the tap all at once. The CBD with the combination of trace amounts of THC will help you with your withdraws gradually. I took full spectrum H4 CBD gummies. Best on the market. After 2 to 3 weeks, you want to graduate to broad spectrum with absolutely 0 THC. At this point, this is when I took the oils under the tung. Taking omega 3's such as fish oils is extremely important to repair your cannabinoid receptors that has been abused and worn down. Good luck. I hope this helps. I also wanna add, that quitting CBD cold Turkey could lead to some headaches and diarrhea. But it's mild and it doesn't cause extreme insomnia that could drive you insane.

When I got prescribed ritalin / concerta, it was the feeling I was trying to get out of weed for so many years. Except now I was alert, focused, social and motivated, all the things that weed took away. Some people really do have severe adhd that can benefit greatly from stimulant medication. I don’t even want to use cannabis now, so I don’t.

Can you make a video of being allergic to marijuana? This is a very rare event and unfortunately this is happening to me. I never had a problem stopping smoking at anytime in my life until my body is forcing me to. I can’t believe it’s a real thing and it’s effecting my mental health. I can’t even microdose without itching, tingling, muscle stiffness. I get extremely tired and sometimes in my mind I feel like I could die if I don’t stop smoking. I would love to know more about the interactions between smoking weed and a permanent medication of antidepressants and lithium. I am taking two antidepressants (Effexor and Remeron) and lithiumcarbonate for more than 20 years and never was able to quit weed completely though i went to rehab and staid sober for several years. A few weeks ago I found out, that my medication, originally prescribed because of anxiety and depression, caused exactly that anhedonia you´re talking about, because of emotinal dampening of emotions from the lithium and a serious decrease of serotonin from the ssris. when i smoked weed, i was motivated and able to do stuff again and have positive feelings about it...greetings from germany
