with my 4 yr old mutt i use puzzle feeders when feeding him and i wait until he is calm before using them. he also learned to engage and disengage with people and other dogs.

Such a great way to get him to think and work for his food.

@@dreamgaits it helps with other aspects too like socializing. he has learned to read a situation like say meeting a new dog and navigating the difficulties that come with that.

3 1/2 month old Miniature Australian Shepherd AKC Mini American Shepherd. technically but I don't like the name change. There is no such thing as an American Shepherd yet AKC is calling them a Mini American Shepherd. Now, aren't you sorry you asked. Lol thanks for your comment!
