She got a disability plaque for her car because she would forget where she parked and would freak out. Thankfully she is doing a lot better now and things have been healing but she once got screamed at by a 3-400lbs person for her parking in the disability bay and making them walk two extra parking spots. I find this to be completely insane! This always blows my mind. My husband was born with a disability (spina bifida) and has had 6 surgeries for it over his life. Never once has he complained. He played football growing up, baseball and now is a rancher/horse trainer. He wasn’t ever supposed to walk but he defied the odds. So many times he’s been offered handicap plates or could use it to board a plane first ect…. He never has. So to complain this much because you can’t control how much food you eat is wild.

As a fat person, I’m not pretending that everyone else should make things easier for me. I wish others like me would stop adding to the nonsense, it’s just making things worse. It’s our own fault for lack of self control and I feel an overwhelming shame and embarrassment every time I get on a plane (and I deserve it) Yes I should try harder to better myself… but it’s not easy, man. Of course there are SOME medical exceptions but I’m not talking about that small number of cases. I’m talking about the vast majority that did it to themselves (like I did) let’s stop pretending we’re normal and healthy. We’re not. Let’s get to work.

As someone who lived poor enough for long stretches of time where maybe I eat, maybe I don't, for days at a time, I'll tell you this: You can get used to being hungry. Same way you can get used to being cold. It's not the most comfortable thing, especially at first, but as you experience it more often and for longer periods of time, it has less of an effect. It becomes quieter. I can go three days without eating and feel fine. I often do because being hungry no longer bothers me. It's just a sensation. I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying it's attainable.
@the_creed7969 Жыл бұрын
Well hey now, as a very skinny person, I don’t think you need to feel some deep sense of shame. That doesn’t help anyone, least of all you. The fact that you’re fat isn’t an indicator that you’re a bad person. It’s just an indicator that there are some lifestyle changes you need to make if you want to live a longer, healthier, and more convenient life. Nothing more, nothing less. So, as long as you take accountability for your choices and don’t expect the world to change on account of your choices, then you’re already doing what you need to be doing friend. The shame, while understandable and human, doesn’t help anything.

The look on their faces when we had to roll one out during the rush was hilarious but they didn’t care because it was all you can eat breadsticks . I found out they called it the Larry chair because some guy named Larry sued Olive Garden because he couldn’t fit in the normal chairs which are oversized already. He got paid big money for the lawsuit. Lol that’s ridiculous.. I max out with like 3 slices! You forgot to mention the gallon of soda they drink with that pizza! I always see obese people with a huge cup of soda because it’s “hot outside”. DRINK WATER BRO!! That’s another thing, these obese people rarely drink water! My obese friend once tried to convince me that juice is healthier than water because it has vitamins in it 😂. 2 months later he gets a blood clot in his leg and has to take blood thinners for life! I asked him if he told his doctor that he never drinks water. He tells me “it has nothing to do with that, why would I mention that?” 😂😂😂😂. I just gave up, ok bro drink juice. He also goes to the gym but has no idea what he’s doing so he gets 0 results. When I got big very quick, I’m talking muscle not fat. He said I took steroid because there is no way I can get big that fast 😂. He would go to the gym and do tricep workouts for the whole time. Like dude you’re obese, you should be doing more cardio and light weight with a ton of reps. He wouldn’t listen, he’s still obese but he’s convinced he’s like some health expert because he read men’s health magazines.

Жыл бұрын
Ummm that would be a legitimate wish to have. Capitalism already makes things as small as possible. Not even a normal sized person is comfortable in their seats. However there is a difference in being "abnormally" tall and needing something and being a fatass that thinks the world revolves around them.
@Peglegkickboxer Жыл бұрын
Same but height is something people can't change. It's not selfish to ask for larger seats on a plane for that. If it is then I'm going to linebacker plow through the handicapped people that get boarded first next time to get to my seat faster.
