I have driven by car from hyderbad to chandigarh in July 2024 out of the total distance of 1900 kms about 1200 kms road was full of patholes and diversions for road construction but everywhere toll was collected. Toll booth people are just rowdies the way they demand toll for pathetic roads.

i always travel from Hyderabad to Chandigarh [zirakpur] ? in which section you found pot holes ? I never found potholes except 50 km before and after nagpur , dont lie here

And once you cross the tiger reserve after nagpur all the way to sagar, jhansi all the way till agra.... For the toll we pay we need highways which are like hyderabad to Adilabad atleast of that quality..

To travel from Bhiwani to Rohtak bye pass on NH 709B for 30 kms, for we shall pay ₹75/-. There is 29 speed breaker on this 30 kms strech , further the road conditions is not good.

This is nothing but a broad day robbery. There is no complaint mechanism for each of the toll, and entire stretch of journey. No complaint box or toll free number for any complaint/suggestion or feedback 1:24 mechanism from road users for improvement of roads any other facilities to road users. Toll plazas are constructed on Major National Highways set at not less than 60kms apart. The toll collected also is not uniform. The toll is almost 1.5 to 2 Rupees per Kilometer and prior to toll collection system Hefty (Almost 18-20%) Road Tax calculated on Ex SR price of vehicle used to be collected by RTO being the charges for Road modernisation. Even today it is collected. When Road Tax is collected why toll on Road Users ? Our Judiciary shud take up the issue and abolish Road Tax Collection leaving only TOLL Collection as Road users fees

Very nice content!!! There should be no tall tax when vehicle owners already pay road tax when buying their vehicles!! Condition of such roads is pathetic. The road I use to travel daily charge Rs75 on single journey, but I get railway crossing which keeps people waiting almost 20-25 minutes on daily basis, so many big pools of water on rainy days making it scary to drive through and what to talk of the potholes and 3 feet grass grown in the dividers!! God please save us from such loot!! 🙏🏻
