That was the most enjoyable harrowing experience I've ever had. Thanks.

Great video. Just wishing I had enough land to justify a Fergie!

Ah, deja-vu. I’ve lost count of the square miles of grass seed I’ve put down with an ATV and a hopper like that. I’ve got a 6x6 with a dump box, so I can carry several bags of seed with me. Shocking how fast you can lay down a few acres that way.

I find watching the field prep really therapeutic 😂 Out of school I was a 'pig man' and absolutely loved farm life, but an offer to join the military ended up in a 24 year career, so no more farming for me 😢 absolutely love the channel, keep it up 👍

If you had a zig zag or chain harrow you could had use that before rolling it after seeding. As to cover the seed.

The big seeds look like they could be vetch - hard to tell on the video though.

It does seem concerning how dry the soil appears given the volume of rain we have had recently. Do herbal leys definitely work on sloping ground then??? I am not sure how you got the soil to this total brown state but that itself seems a bit contrary to nature, perhaps if there was grass still the soil would retain more water with dew say??? Very interesting though, hope it works. Maybe Pip Archer could visit and advise???
