We are so excited for this trip! We were supposed to come in November but we needed to change our plans and we will be there very soon. Pakistan has suffered for many reasons to get some tourists after 9/11. For a few years they really worked hard on security and promote Pakistan to become an again touristy destination. Pakistan is on the top 10 destinations to visit in 2020 and we're happy to be here and explore this beautiful country and have a chance to meet lovely locals. Would you travel to Pakistan?

The lack of tourism in Pakistan was a problem created by themselves with poor security and intelligence services and authorities arbitrarily making up rules and preventing tourists from visiting. It supposedly has opened up now and relaxed entry rules for foreign passport holders of a Indian origin like me so I hope to visit Pakistan one of these days. Check the Coronavirus situation because India and Pakistan are pretty bad places to be stuck in an ongoing global pandemic.

Dunkarl Dunkarl Nowhere in the world is safer from a global pandemic. But if I were to choose which place I’d rather be, it would be Italy any day over India or Pakistan. Why? Because Italy is a developed country with pandemic protocols and a plan in place for quarantine. And Italy has 60m people. In India and Pakistan , the people in charge will be completely clueless running like headless chickens trying to control a 1.3b or 220m population with the pandemic spreading like rapid fire and no place to avoid crowds.

Like the lucky ones of my generation I crossed Pakistan 3 times from Kabuli Gorge to Wagah Rd border with India. One time by night train from Peshawar to Lahore, one time by bus from Delhi to Ostend and one time I hitched a ride in Kabul with a charming Dutch couple in a Mini and a German woman in a Mercedes (a whole story there). Pakistan in 1979 was raw, exciting, edgy and so beautiful. I hope you see some of this. Love, D.

The thing most unique and amazing about pakistan is that pakistanis kept their culture same today like before they love and care nature clean environment, most affordable country on planet everything is cheap visa on arrival and no theft and most important people's hospitality they don't think tourist as ATM machines most of the people don't take money in exchange for food, service ,

Hey dude my best suggestion is land in Islamabad and head to northern Pakistan like skardu , hunza , gilgit , phander and kumrat valley they're currently the best places in Pakistan. Dont visit Karachi its way chaotic and hectic . Thats my suggestion it will save your time and money . Dont visit Karachi. Travel northern side as much you can and good luck 👍 . And things you mentioned it was bad past Pakistan recovered and campared to crime rates america , south africa, brazil and many other countries have more crime rates in 2019 crime index . And capital Islamabad has extremely less crime campare to london . Northern side of Pakistan is 97% crime free and zero theft. Right now Please please do travel northern Pakistan the valley and mountains trees are covered with snow and it look really dope my relatives from middleast they camed last week from there and they were blown away speechless .

South of Pakistan isn't recommended though but you must visit northern highlands... Bhurban and Nathiagali beautiful alpine region 1 hour away from Islamabad and hunza valley in North...
