This is glorious, I have been researching "what do quails eat" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Eeyila Rudimentary Expediency - (search on google ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to raise healthy and fertile quail minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got great success with it.

Mine are 10 weeks old and haven't started laying yet. However, it is mid-fall here and I was figured that why they hadn't started. Thanks for the video!

We recently got 2 ladies. The coop is on the ground like yours but I have two small dogs that occasionally run and bark at the doves hanging around the coop. Would this affect the quails from laying?

In Australia, this bloke lives on the mid-north coast i reckon around Coffs harbor way maybe up to Port Macquarie you looking a min temp at midnight middle of winter at 6-8c... minimum of minimus, day time temp round 16-18c coldest days.... he can grow ANYTHING! No prep needed for our winters maybe a bit extra wood for a cozy fire... that's it... his PawPaw trees will stop and Mangoes will slow down... he is in the PRIME spot for gardening... all banana territory and ALOT of snakes his way.... hes a lucky chap. Im about 600 clicks south, and never seen snow here... in Wollongong. I prep my quail through winter on baby quail food with protein of 30% get em fat for spring laying...
