The aftermarket sites are absolutely swimming in listings. People complaining about price are barking up wrong tree, at least so far (I'm guessing out-of-state brokers got in heavy on the season tickets after Cal announced .... But that can be a benefit to buyers in many cases.)

That "weird vibe" from being down at halftime is something KY fans have known for years. It happens when your loaded roster plays down to its competition. Thing is, bad coaching and immature players are all you need for mid majors to close the gap, and with Cal you get both.

They are selling tickets to corporations. That way they can sell large blocks at premium prices. What they should do is any ticket that hasn't been scanned during the fist 30 minutes of the game they need to open those seats for people waiting in a standby line to purchase seats at half off.

Besides 2012 Championship, what other "titles" has Cal won? As far as I know...he has won A title (one, uno, 1). I don't believe he won any titles at UMass or Memphis. He SHOULD have had at least 2 or 3 at Kentucky with all the Final Four appearances over the first 7 or 8 years. But...like many here know...Cal can recruit but he can't coach.

This team kinda reminds me of Muss teams with the slow starts,rebounding issues, turning the ball over, shot selection inconsistent three point even mid range shooting our guards need to set the tone early to control the tempo of the game to their liking by mixing it up attacking the paint and finishing at the rim or making correct pass for a good shot when necessary if they can fix these things we will be fine.

These large companies that are paying to have their logos on the court are likely also getting premium tickets. And they don't show for games like this. I think it's weird all of these KY fans commenting on these videos, but they have a point. Muss understood that one part of the coach's job is to put butts in seats. No one cares "what the game is called" and it's easy to shit on the Arkansas PR team, but having a coach who directly reached out to fans is one thing that really helped us the last few years. Just having Cal as a coach is not enough of a draw for the majority of people. Coaches aren't playing. We have a lot of 5 stars now, but most of them will be gone in a year and next year there will be a new carousel. Having undeveloped 5 star freshmen is great. But acting like Cal "deserves" a full stadium because of his resume is laughable. The coach and the players need to earn the fans' respect, not the other way around.

I was a Cal supporter, even in bad years, until he said something 2 years ago after a home loss. During his post game radio show, he said " everyone in the country knows how to defend and stop our offense. So for us to win we have to play perfectly." He is a hall of fame coach and the fact he knows whats wrong with his teams but refuses to change anything finally forced me to give up. I hope he fixes things and cements his legacy with some top tier years, but at this point, I don't think he will. Good luck hogs, I believe you are gonna need it.

Cal is a talent aggregator. Not so much a coach. His ideal roster is 13 guys 6'9" or taller that can guard every position, switch every screen, jump out of the gym, and run really fast. Dribbling, passing, and actually putting the ball in the basket are secondary or even tertiary. Cal has never prioritized offensive skill in recruiting, preferring to win a 65-60 rock fight then 110-95. It's who he is.

Cal and top tier players are great but the reality is the product on the court has not been very entertaining. Long time fan and have watched every game on TV. They’ve been hard to watch at times this season. NBA players vs mid major players should be nothing but highlight reels. Not driving 2.5 hrs to NWA, spend money on tickets and concession, in the middle of the week to watch it. Speaking for a group of long term Hog fans. We are concerned that SEC play will not go well. okay wait...NW Arkansas doesn't have to bring it? there's probably 10-15x the amount of people up there in 2024 vs 1993 when I went to law school in Fayetteville. packed BWA every night. the student section was a fightto get into. the enrollment is now 2x what it was then. these kids would get off their TikToks and Instagrams and to use their social media skills to track down a ticket avenue. but the bottom line is these kids don't give a shit about Arkansas because they're from Texas. And the Arkansas kids probably unless they're big basketball fans don't recognize any Arkansas names on the squad. it's been over 30 years since we won a national championship.
