We finished one place ahead of Vanderbuilt in the 247 recruiting rankings this past year. It is bad and there is no other way to say it. Chris Paul was the second best player on D and he's at Ole Miss. Maybe Bobby P. can get something out of them that Pittman can't.

Not saying it’s impossible for him to be taken over by someone else but based of what we seen last year from the wr room he’s far and away the wr1. I do think a lot of these guys are gonna thrive more in the Petrino offense for sure though.

According to the 247 team talent rankings Arkansas is 13th out of 14th in roster talent in the SEC. Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program. Our last recruiting class was ranked 39th according to 247. Vanderbilt is 40th. That is very distressing. We may be better than last year but so should everyone else. I cannot be optimistic based on our lack of talent. In my estimation we didn't get a very good effort from Alabama and LSU because they didn't care about us and that is why it was so close. Getting curb stomped by an Auburn team that had both of its coordinators fired at the end of the season tells me we are very very bad.

Yurachek isn't going to fire Pittman for losing to a Power 5 team (i.e. Ok State) on the road. Now losing to UAPB? ... yes, that would be a fire-able offense, just like Jack Crowe losing to The Citadel in 1992 and Morris losing to Western Kentucky in 2019.

They said the Razorbacks program was dead before then all of a sudden we won the sec western division and played in three sec championships with Houston nutt , Arkansas has been decent with 18 bowls seasons out of 31 seasons in the SEC so theyve done pretty good and i think Texas joining the SEC will be good for Arkansas as well

Arkansas will never be a powerhouse football program. It just will not happen unless the NIL budget breaks into the amount of money the area has. We could compete with virtually anybody buying players if the boosters would approve it. But they have to make the choice. It makes my heart happy that education comes first. But that being said the boosters have to adapt to the portal era. You want to win? Spend the money, it really is that simple. And Petrino was hired to takeover when Pittman under achieves. I disagree with the Patrino rehire out of principle. His actions are responsible for setting the program back more than a decade. Yet, they hire dude back. Well shit guys you never should have fired him. But it’s Arkansas football. Don’t try to make it make sense

Because that matters at this point. Those actions set in place a series of events that made the FB program a meme. The program never recovered. Now where are the moral high ground folk that called for him to be fired? We need a new AD. Lack of NIL budgets etc. Until Arkansas accepts it needs to buy players they will remain a mediocre program. As a life long fan those are hard pills to swallow. But NIL has made that a reality. WPS

I totally agree with the fact we must have a moral code, I agree ! I also am of the belief that if a man sincerely apologizes for a mistake he made over 10 years ago asks for another chance , I don’t think it’s setting a very good example either to keep holding a mistake against him.. No , I wouldn’t hold winning over morals but I think Bobby sincerely is sorry for his mistake, they man all but got on his knees and ask us to forgive him. His wife and family forgave him. I know in my life I’m glad I got some second chances.. to fire Bobby was right, you honored your moral standard and set a example that if our rules are broken you must pay the price. He paid his and lost his job, but to forgive him and give him another shot is not a disgrace, I think it shows that the university is not only a high standard but fair… imo, NIL Has ruined the sport, but it’s the nature of the beast now.. Kids didn’t need money to play for bobby back then, they wanted to play cause he was very good and would develop kids… I think if Bobby is left to coach at Arkansas he will bring the players in.. he can take a mediocre player and make a diamond, seen it done.. So, yes I think we should have the standards of morality, but I think forgiveness is as important.. We break Gods laws daily , but he still forgives if we ask. Until this team starts to give a damn and starts to at least attempt at giving us fans something to be excited for, I’m refusing to get my hopes up. I learned that lesson after the 2022 season. Then when I predicted 6-6 in 2023, i was met with so much hate. And now people are about to make the same mistake for this year. Face it. God has his favorites like Bama and OU and Ohio State. But he also has his least favorites. Arkansas is the team God hates the most. We will never be good. 3-9 for us in 2024. Book it.
