As a chelsea fan, gusto just doesnt suit inverting, as an overlapper he's unreal. If he's overlapping, yes he can get that output. Ultimately i think he'll see the bench as James gets fully fit and cucu seems undroppable As for the rest, noni has been poor for a while, too one dimensional, good at being direct when palmer hands it on a plate for him but if he's far from the goal he's poor, especially creatively Neto, Cucu, Caicedo, fofana fantastic today
@FauxieDaoJia2 күн бұрын
Trouble is, there's no history to support James getting and staying fully fit for any really significant amount of time. Why is he suddenly going to stay fit now?
@onda_dr_quinn3942Күн бұрын
James won’t play Gustos role simply because his body won’t hold up. It’s why he started at left back inverting, so he doesn’t run up and down the pitch constantly

I've loved Odegaard for years but this is the problem with being so reliant on one player - especially in midfield.
@elozinoemeovrode9779Күн бұрын
Shut up you will always rely on a player than why there is a thing called irreplaceable
@raveraidd13 сағат бұрын
@@elozinoemeovrode9779 he has a point though, our sole creative outlet cannot be a single player, we need something from the rest of the team, relying on one player to output from the middle is not sustainable, if we lose ode again we can only hope we get top 4.
@elozinoemeovrode977913 сағат бұрын
@ every team has an irreplaceable player be it a striker or an attacking midfielder just give it rest top teams will have a blip when there irreplaceable players is not available so give it a rest take salah from Liverpool and I assure you they are finished completely.
@gomeze82307 сағат бұрын
@elozinoemeovrode9779 A team is much less likely to fall apart like Arsenal and City have, if they lose a winger rather than a central midfielder. Liverpool probably hace the richest depth of wingers or players who can perform there: Jota, Diaz, Gakpo, Nunez, Chiesa...even Elliot. Now if they lost VVD...maybe...but Konate has become a monster this year that i think he'd elevate Quansah or whoever was next to him
@BestBoyPatrick2 күн бұрын
The gusto thing is interesting. He’s tactically key but ultimately doesn’t suit the role. He’s not creative in that way and he absolutely cannot shoot. You want him bombing up the flank and fizzing balls across. I think eventually we’ll see Reece James take the role and it’ll click. We’ve seen Reece has the passing range and creativity to pick the passes and is a pretty lethal shooter. If Reece James is making the underlapping runs in behind that gusto often does he’s probably got a few goals already this season. We saw him do it all the time under Tuchel. The problem is it’s a physically intensive role and you just can’t risk it until you know his legs won’t explode doing all that running
@WilliamHolmes-r4bКүн бұрын
In terms of shape and tactical discipline... There's no structure to the teams general play without Odegaard. He provides us with the perfect foundation for sharp, fast-paced attacking moves which clearly helps us to dictate the flow of the game!
@nathan43892 күн бұрын
Love Madueke, but on form it looks like he’ll be benched for Neto when Sancho comes back in on the left. Noni is just not showing the consistency and efficiency that Maresca talked about him needing to show earlier in the season.
@Kyumaro17 сағат бұрын
A team that lose his playmaker will always struggle. Of course a team that have multiple playmaker and maestro, if they lose one because of injury the consequence will be reduced, it will still have a significative consequence because of the influence of the chemistry of the team and also the chemistry he had with the other playmaker and their combination between them. For a team with only one it will have critical consequence however because wihout him, no one is left to dictate the game, no one is here to create, bring movement, does the perfect pass to a run, see a run that only the playmaker see.
