Very good video, thank you for explaining the FSIQ categories in detail. Ayanokoji is truly underrated, his anticipation,Strat,FSIQ, manipulation is more potent then others realize it to be. I see lots of people downplay Ayanokoji by saying “he manipulates high school students” which is a bad argument since from birth koji was trained to use these skills in the actual political world. The feats koji does now can also be used against adults if needed he’s already been shown to be smarter then everyone in his verse as of now anyways.

He memorised a lot more information than just that available on the OAA app. Takuya memorised all of their names, addresses, parents and friends from childhood names, all the schools they attended, clubs both school clubs and extracurricular, every single grade that they achieve from their time in school, interview answers, brief summaries of their past including Kushida destroying her class, Kei getting bullied, Hirata's friend attempted suicide, Ichinose's shoplifting and quite a decent amount more but I'm not gonna go into all of it but yes Takuya's memory feats are insane, he also has great PSI and CPI with the Tablet feat on the 2nd island exam

Bruh beat me right to it, I wasn't sure if you'd get to Classroom of the Elite and scale Ayanokouji's feats. You'd think you'd ever do a L vs Ayanokouji video as they're said to be child prodigies, and both are experts in psychological warfare. Considering the types of match ups for L and Light thus far have been pretty one sided I believe this is way more even and has potential for either side to win. I don’t think so. People just don’t understand that he is a completely different kind of character than he are used to. His goal and the idea behind him is not to dominate everyone, but to how development can look like. We see Ayanokoji as a supporting character, as someone who strives for character development. Ayanokoji and Cote are so popular because it’s very intriguing, compelling and well-developed. He grapples with his own motivations and dilemmas. Ayanokoji's actions have significant consequences within the story, shaping the dynamics of the classroom and influencing the fates of other characters. His presence drives the plot forward and adds tension and suspense to the narrative. For a character such as Ayanokoji it would be bad written if there was someone who is a serious rival with relative strength, as that would overshadow the other characters. A character is OP done wrong when their abilities or characteristics detract from the narrative, diminish tension or conflict, and lead to a lack of engagement or investment from the audience. That obviously doesn’t apply to Ayanokoji.

Not to mention whenever another character is met with a challenge, who do they call? AYANOKOJI! and he fixes the issue no problem. How do you expect characters to grow when they can’t do anything themselves, since they rely on him for everything it completely undermines the other characters, take Suzune for an example, the only reason she is the way she is today is 100% Ayanokoji’s doing, he babied her throughout her entire character arc to point where Manabu acknowledged him more than her. I bet you can’t name a single Suzune feat that did not include Ayanokoji. Idk what your definition of OP done right or wrong is, but personally I believe when a character is impossible to defeat, when there’s not only a gap in power levels but a complete wall separating him and every other character, it completely removes all tension and the villains don’t feel like threats. Imo that’s what OP done wrong is, an example of OP done right would Saturo Gojo, even his power and abilities far exceed other characters but we are SHOWN that there ways to defeat him, as seen from Toji and Sukana. You understand what I’m trying to say? This is my opinion of course and your opinion is an interesting one and I respect that. I just hope to add my perspective on the topic.

While there are people that are getting annoyed or tired of Ayanokoji’s dominance, to many people there is still a lot of thrill. It is thrilling and exciting to see his outsmarting plays. However, it only appeared that the tension goes away, even though it’s only temporary(due to Y2V8,9,9.5,10,11). There is and was even in Y2 a lot of tension, considering the WR students and now that Ayanokoji’s plans are threatened due to Ryuuen and Sakayanagi’s bet. It is still very interesting and exciting to see him navigating those challenges, coupled with factors like Nagumo and more. While Ayanokoji helps people out of their problems pretty often, it still shouldn’t be denied that the other students have no own merit. For example, Horikita managed the class throughout the exams of Y2V9-10. She also beat Ryuuen’s class in Y1V6, or when she managed the tension in the class and directed everyone to expel Yamauchi. There are other instances as well, in which Ayanokoji only needed to correct slight mistake to make it “perfect”. There are several cases also for other characters. It is not to be denied that many characters benefited only due to Ayanokoji, though I see it as a way for Kinu to portray development in a different way, and definitely in contrast to something like the WR. Ayanokoji also encourages more healthy and natural development, even if he manipulates the circumstances. He allows the students to realize their own faults instead of blatantly pointing it out. An overpowered character done wrong is one that lacks depth, development, logical consistency within the story's context, limitations, effort to resolve situations and of consequences or impact on the story. While I believe it’s clear that none of that above applies to Ayanokoji, some people seem to think that he doesn’t have limitations. That’s not true though. Aside from Ayanokoji being limited by his understanding of the outside world(like in social trends), he also has times where he has inaccurate judgements(like in V7 of what choice Kei would make or in Y2V9 the telephone call with Satou where he misread her feelings), or where he faces backlashes due to the uncertainty of the future. Ayanokoji can obviously not predict what exactly the future offers for him. This has been shown by the bet in Y2V11, Sakayangi’s first appearance, Atsuomi and Tsukishiro…..

@@Abdullah7536 I guess at the end of the day it’s just a matter of preference. I’m not trying to be a hater and I don’t necessarily hate his character but obviously he’s not my favourite, you make a strong argument and given me a lot to think about. You can’t blame people for believing that Ayanokoji doesn’t have limitations, technically he does have them but they don’t affect the main story in a big way, making him appear perfect. Maybe Kinu is waiting for year 3 for his limitations to come to light but we’ll have to wait and see. As for Ryuuen and Sakaynagi’s bet, I don’t think kinu has the balls to expel one of his more popular characters especially since there’s a whole year left. I’m curious to know what you think of that. But my biggest gripe with Ayanokoji, is that it’s safe to assume that by the end of the series, he will suffer a genuine loss. Which is impossible as of right now, especially since Vol 0’s release, and the character who I believe the narrative is rooting for is Suzune and I think most of the fandom agrees with that. It’s hinted throughout the series that Ayanokoji wants to lose and Suzune being the one person who spent the most time with him to the point where she straight up read his mind, you think it would be possible but after Vol 0 there’s no way in hell. That’s why I think Ayanokoji’s OP abilities will a have a negative impact on the story. But I’m curious to know what you think?

@@theone1246 Well, I believe Kinu mentioned in an interview a few months ago that a major character will be expelled at the end of the year(it has been translated and sent in the Reddit server as well). But we will see what happens. Here I will also wait and see what happens. Ayanokoji also aims at marking his name on the students and letting them go through his social experiment. We only have a vague idea what that is. But I think it will show itself what might happen throughout the next volumes. I don’t believe in the Horikita beating Ayanokoji thing though, and I don’t know what Kinu has to offer, but it is more interesting for him to stay unpredictable, I guess.

Theres koenji who is a complete unknown, and sakayanagi is still not fully known on her potential. This is because the only comparison directly was a battle where kiyo had a slight advantage in position due to horikitas chess position. Too many unknowns to claim he can solo
