Balance is the most fun school out of all of the schools for me, plus it’s my main school, and my first school ever. But it was not easy until I got Judgement and Sandstorm.

Early game is definitely a grind and I actually recommend doing side quests for the extra xp to get to the big Sandstorm faster Once you get sandstorm and enchants from Arcanum you sweep

To be fair if a balance wizard is struggling they should just ask a friend or use the team up option. I know some bosses are strictly solos but it can be done just might take a little longer

If all else fails, usually giving up on hitting big works. Just summon a minion (lol I know) and pack a million basic hits and buffs

Balance is a great school. I have solo'd my way all the way to lvl 100 on it. I think the big difference is its a bit more time consuming. You're gonna spend longer in battle, using blades n traps to hit hard. But its very easy to solo if you set the deck up for a longer battle.

Balance is super fun and their spells are awesome, but I hate that they don't have anything they're good at besides support, while also not having a convert (and tanking to an extent)

Other than life. Balance is the best at 2nd schools mix. Most players are not creative. You want to really use balance and life to the max skill set. Use all the schools you wish too. It is easier to make modes. Example, need to heal. Put rebirth in your side board, Then get a life amulet, Then use your Deck, Ring, and Athame to control the 2nd school. In terms of power. You can add pierce. For more options.

Contrary to popular belief, Balance isn't actually that hard to solo. I've soloed mostly through Arc 2 with a balance wizard and I had a better time doing it than when I did with a storm wizard. The only nuisance you have is not being able to remove weaknesses. Judgement is an absolute powerhouse. It makes almost every other Balance single hit useless. Against Balance minions, you just Infallible + Power Nova and against bosses you just spam Hydra and Spectral Blast. At higher levels, you have Nested Fury, which is basically a fusion of a high pip single hit and an aoe spectral blast. Of course, you'll struggle in the absolute excuse of a world known as Azteca, but what school doesn't struggle there that isn't a life or death wizard?

I found even azteca easy. It does take long ofc and sometimes you get max bolted 2 times by an Ice boss, but with judgement and feint (especially double feint at Level 86) its easy. If you Rock waterworks gear with a good pet where you have around 100 damage, a 6 or 8 pip judgement with just colossal and a crit usually takes out the Minion, and After that you judge the Boss too. Judgement is really Key to salvation

I remember first trying the game back when I was a 10 year old kid with no money. When I took the personality test, balance was the school that was recommended to me. I ended up choosing myth instead and wouldn't play any other school. I eventually hit the pay wall at Firecat all and Triton Avenue and then dropped the game for years. Fast forward to present day, and I'm an adult who is obsessed with ancient Egypt and has a whole glass display case of full of different egyptian statues and oddities. I recently picked up the game just a few weeks ago and finally started playing as a balance wizard. It feels like it was meant to be.

I didn't struggle so much in the first arc with my balance. I haven't made it to the second arc yet (just about to finish dragonspyre) but I basically use monstrous tc and with balance mobs I still use the aoe spell. Can kill if you have all 3 blades and monstrous tc helps. With the bosses, I used spectral blast or hydra. But I don't struggle as much. Just with the balance bosses I make sure I kill the mob first. Now I don't know about arc 2....and I'm a bit nervous for the higher levels cuz I know the mobs will start to resist more. But I am definitely excited. I do consider balance to be hard mode. I thought storm was harder and that was my first wizard lol. But playing balance and knowing there is no prisms and the damage isn't all that great and blah blah blah, I know this is the true hard core school! lol

My first wizard was balance. Was difficult at first but contrary to the normal belief. It was a good experience, I could solo a good chunk with its mechanics, only two problems, high health bosses sucked and fellow boss balance enemies sucked harder.

eh idk if its fun to play. You get judgement at the start of the game and I use it for every boss for the rest of the game which gets boring and your level 48 aoe is the one I use for the rest of the game since nothing is stronger than judgement and the power nova. Ra is cool but useless since there is no point for a weakness if im trying to one shot the enemy. Chimera is also meh since i have hydra. The 10 pip is also meh because judgement does more damage and shadow spells are also meh bc judgement. Only thing that might be good is the 6 pip shadow. Battles are also pretty basic, blade pass and power nova for mobs before you get sharpen blade. Kills with a critical which happens most times, if not then judgement the last one. For bosses you can always kill the minion with power nova and if its hard then just flee and 1v1 the boss. Blade/trap/feint judgement and you're good.

Well balance, life, death and myth are more fun to play than storm. You don't just say "Haha tempest go brrr" everytime you're in a battle. I just switch up, put mana burn, supernova and gaze of fate, play it like in pvp against a boss. Sure, it's not effective, but at least I'm having fun.

Well you are making balance a bit too bad at the beginning for low level struggles......it is better now whenever you can get to buy some archmastery jewel......but i would say it is good to start without sandstorm and judgement to get to know of your class more, but you can get sandstorm already at the level of 16. I am already in dragonspyre and id say bosses are being even easier on this class than other classes lol. Can not wait to be higher level cause my balance is getting stronger all the time when i can access for better armor with better states overall. But my advice for balance users is> try to get more power pip chance as possible at first. Luckily there=s a lot of armor with this for low level balance users. For the second try to get a good pet with some useful spell or blades, best when one of those states is also crit chance. At higher level an universal crit cance is even better due to your archmastery.....bec you can even heal more if it is a critical heal. My another qoal is to end up in celestia as fast as possible to learn some star or sun school spells. So 47 levels in one month + not always playing. For me balance is the best school yet and i havent found balance bosses to be that hard as you are making them. Later on you can get a lot of pierce on them.

its not too difficult, just slow with sandstorm early game imo. You might only really struggle in the early worlds with balance bosses but you can just get a max to help if you struggle.

Full waterworks gear, sky iron hasta, either the level 50 malistaire ring and athame or the old wintertusk ring and athame, and a good pet. Even just a semi decent pet can net you an extra 10-20 damage.

probably the gear sets in the primeval hoard pack. the set bonus is pretty crazy, especially on fire.

@@ayethegoat My advice if ur gonna spend is to get urself the fossil avengers set from the primeval hoard pack. U only need the fire one and it can technically be used for EVERY school. All u need to do is hatch with i believe it's the scratchy frillasaur ( whichever is the frill that is part of the fossil avengers set). Get that pet with quint damage and mighty, do it for any school u want to make. And there u go u can get a total of 18 damage from wand, 33 damage from the pet and then 5 damage from the set bonus so that's 56 damage total just from the pet and the wand. Also if u heal or support I'd recommend the jade gear definitely at least the hat and boots. The robe is kinda hard to get. Overall it took me like 10k crowns to get the fire wand i can't remember exactly then it took me 8k to get the hat,boots and the wand from the keepers lore pack. So about 20k total. One pack i will say to never open is the ghulture packs. Their mount gives 3% damage u can go ahead and get the battle narwhal mount i think it's called. U get 2% damage universal. Trust me that ghulture pack is terrible if ur looking for a specefic mount unless ur lucky. Anyways hope this helps mate that's about all i would recommend doing really. As far as the robe for jade goes u can either get lucky and get it from the pack or u can go for alternatives. Such as the spooky carnival robe and the sherlock robe. I got the sherlock robe discounted for about 20 dollars. Ik this was a long ass reply but just wanted to help u not make any bad decisions with ur money 😂. I've done all this and I'm not spending a dime more. Also as for the wand and the jade gear just stitch it to something that would look good on all ur wizards and keep swapping it over in ur shared bank. Job done.
