I tried for years to start a business whilst keeping my sales job. I don't have the personality for sales but pursued it because Pat said entrepreneurs need to. Did sales for 4 years and 2 months ago i decided to just go all in making a business. I must say, of all the times I've tried to start a business, this is definitively the furthest I've progressed, ever. I'm nowhere near as nervous as i was in the past. This is literally the reason (one of major reasons) I quit my sales job last year. Owner wanted to retire. Son didn't want to take over but he would because he didn't know what else he would do. I was ready to take over the world WITH him......but not FOR him. 3 years of this wishy washy nonsense and my mind couldn't handle it. They sold the property the business is on and store is closing for good on Jan 2023.

I’ve always said yesterday his history tomorrow is a mystery today is the present that’s why they call it a gift, every morning you wake up and open your eyes you have a reason to be blessed you’re alive and in the now in a blink of an eye your whole life can change, the future you can plan but it’s never promised not 100%. So I think it’s best to blame where you’re planted a lot of people move away trying to find happiness somewhere else because they’re not happy where they’re at only for that reason only they don’t like the people, I’ve been asked how are the people in the Midwest, I said well how are the people where are you come from they said terrible stuck up just downright mean I told them that’s how they’ll be here. Then I’ve had people tell me that the people were really nice where they were at they just had to move to a place I could afford and they would miss where they lived They just had a reason to MoveOn and they were already happy, the moral of the story is if you’re not happy and you don’t love yourself then you’re not gonna be happy no matter how much money you have how many cars you have how many houses you have Automobiles it just doesn’t matter, but if you’re happy with yourself now then when you get to where you’re going you’re gonna be happy there and you will appreciate what you achieve

Pat, you are so right about being "Lukewarm". I been "Lukewarm" all my life and it got me nowhere. That is why I'm not ready to run with you at this time or deserve to run with you. It's just not the right time for me yet, plus I'm being censor at this time too. The fact that you running so fast kind of scare me. I know I won't be able to catch up for sure cause I'm still in the "Lukewarm" stage. The day when I post a comment on your channel and said "hey Pat, I'd made it!!!! I am now making the kind of money I thought was never possible for me. Thank you so much!!!" that would be the day I'm ready to run with you. I need to defeat my own demons first and get out of the "Lazy" zone. As for friendship, Pat you don't need to beg anyone. Friendship comes from the heart and no amount of money can buy friendship. I know people will hate me for saying this but it's the truth. He/she will still want to be friend with you even when you are flat broke to the bone (that's is true friendship). So Pat, I want you to know that I consider you as a friend and a mentor but not on a personal level yet. Watching you on KZbin and learning from you is good enough for me as for now. Well of coarse I would love to get to know you on a personal level but I'm not ready yet. I don't want to feel like I'm using your friendship for my own personal gain. I want to make it first on my own and when we get to know each other on a personal level (I can feel comfortable with it because I'm not using you to benefit myself). When I left the military I had this exact samething happen. After 8 years I knew I couldn't be lukewarm. So I didn't listen to my friends and strangers and did not go Marine reserves. It's still tough adjusting 1 half years later but I don't regret it because I got the one thing I wanted back. My time. For those that are wondering when you're in the military your time is the government's time. Even on weekends, holidays or when you're in bed with your wife. Being lukewarm isn't just business it can also be personal. As a man dating around you can't be Luke warm with women. You either want that woman or not. Don't waste your time being wishy washy and throwing unsure signals. Eventually she will just throw you in the friend zone because she can sense you're unsure of yourself.

There are other players in the massive field I play in but competition? no, I don't have any...as long as you don't sit on your "laurels" and relax too much. Even when you want to semi-retire, have the right people in place to keep driving the company forward continuing to innovate where you can. Customer service is King though, never forget you are dealing with individuals who want to be seen as a somebody that matters. and they sure as hell do matter.

I have always followed that advice. Once I moved on there was no way of coming back. However, I would look at the recording just to know if my judgment about people was correct. I would not tell them anything, but that kind of intelligence didn't have to go to waste. Maybe you see some of those guys on your way to success and it would be good what they thought about you.
