A few things worth noting. The 1500 attack gain is permanent, so it can get big quick. The eff when it destroys something by battle is not once per turn, so if you use the eff to attack twice and then destroy two things by battle the next turn, you'll get the eff twice. The banish doesn't target... Move over borreload, there's a new sheriff in town.

Actually the Glad Beast one does support it's archetype. Glad Beasts attack then tag out. Dragases(fuck that name btw), let's them safely attack bigger monsters, so they can tag out regardless. If anything else Glad beasts are a fusion spam archetype, so it has the arrows to facilitate that. What do Ritual Monsters need arrows for? The BLS Link has the whole BLS "look" (3000 attack warrior, who attacks twice and banishes), but it literally does nothing for the archetype. It could've been generic and no one would notice.

This card is actually trash, it has no quick effect, no floodgate effect to prevent the opp from playing the game. Its just a 3000 body that cant be targeted or destroyed. So u can just trishula its ass(mermails/nekroz/dinos/any deck that has tuners/infernity/six samurai). Or u could run over it. (Gren maju/dinos/mermails with their 800 attack boost equip spell/heros have trinity a 5000 beatstick/six samurais can do their infinite counter loop then pump all the counters onto their samurais making them have infinite attack/etc etc)

Gaining 1500 attack on a 3000 attack monster that can't be targeted by effects is really good, especially when there is nothing else to banish. Keeps the other guy from just being able to overpower you. Keeping him alive means he gets to banish more shit. If you already have 4500/6000 atk, you can do the 'attack twice next turn' to be able to banish more shit if it pops up too.

I feel like Chaos Soldier being a generic boss monster really supports the classic theme of the Black Lustre Soldiers, it's not like the archetype plays Envoy of the Evening Twilight or Sacred Soldier either or even prioritizes EotB as much as Chaos & BA do, so imo this is one case where a Link monster being generic is a good thing, just like EotB it'll get to turn up all over the place for anyone playing any appropriate deck & just be a cool boss monster.

They work really well with link fodder it's just that a lot of them have that restriction that makes it to where you can only summon flower cardian monsters. Maybe a link 2 that gives battle protection, that way your Ameshoku is protected in almost every way?

What gets me mad is that this card alone is better than *ALL* of the Talkers combined. It has both Transcode and Excode's protection effects by itself, it has three trigger effects, and is big as fuck for a Link 3. #whatkindofshitisthat That said. I see it getting use in Blue Eyes, Red Eyes, Odd Eyes and Dark Magician, as those focus on summoning high level monsters. Also, that Mermail/Danger! bullshit. As if Mermail needed a buff.

I use this card in most of my decks but in retrospect it should've been a Link 3 and if you used Gaia The Fierce Knight or another BLS as link material gained the protection part. People would probably still play a link 3 beat stick with those versatile abilities. Especially if it didn't have the different names restriction. It would be weaker but easier, and more in line with the archetype.

I just use it on its own (instead of the Rituals) with Envoy of the Beginning and multiple summons/special summons. I don't use the rituals cause they are to slow for me, and I can summon both these at the same time to banish multiple cards a turn. I just like banishing my friend's cards.

BLS actually does play Lord Gaia, because they can search it off Gateway, they Link it away for Isolde though xP , the only time I ever see this card coming up in BLS is if you summon Envoy of the Beginning and use it's banish effect, but at that point your 3 monsters should be Isolde, Linkuribo & Envoy, so you can just make Borrelsword or Borreload instead. Like, the deck did need a good offensive link 3, but it needed one it could make from Isolde + Super Soldier Soul, this doesn't work at all.

I kinda understand the "next turn" thing considering this is a link 3 with 3000 atk that can raise it's atk permanently by 1500 because if it did say "if this card destroyed a monster by battle it can activate one of these effects" letting it attack again then activate it's effect so it'll basically destroy all monsters on the field then hit the enemy directly with 3000 atk consider that you still only have 3000 atk and you didn't do anything.

It could just have 'attack twice a turn' as a default and not a gainable effect, or put a stipulation on it saying it can't swing more than twice, not that hard to do. Odds are it's best to just get it on the field, smack something, and then banish something unless you got a way to get a level 7+ on the field to be used as material as that makes it a bit more difficult to get over.

Well, it is a 3000 attack, targeting and destruction immunity, easy (enough) to summon link monster that can continuously rise in attack(doesn't have a cap on that), attack twice (next turn...I get why, I just don't like that) and non-targeting banishment. It's a good card, but it's just another BLS card instead of being BLS support. Makes me go "why is this a link monster"?

Turn one: activate effect to attack twice next turn. Turn two: (attack twice due to previous effect activation) and increase attack by 1500. Result: turn after effect activation combo you can: attack twice per turn with a monster that has about 4500 ATK. NEGATIVE: I doubt anyone would wait to do this for two turns when a opponent can negate the effect, not to mention that if you wish to stop the effects from being negated by using a BLS monster as material you are waisting a probably good card to summon a link monster that won't help at all since the deck is based around ritual monsters. I know that there are other archetypes out there that need this type of support badly. And instead what is supposed to be good support is given to archetypes that not only do not need it, but chances are that they won't see much play which is a shame since they have very good effects. If it didn't need a BLS monster to gain effect protection it would be much more useful and would would have seen a lot of play in the link format.

To be fair you couldn't negate the effects if it was link summoned with a level 7+ monster unless it was non-targeting negation so you'd have to play non-specific removal that doesn't destroy which may not be immediately available to you in order to get rid of it. You don't have to use a BLS or related monster, just a high level one of which there are multiple ways of getting one out. Problem is, Borreload is about easy/difficult to summon as this, has an effect that can further plays, can yank monsters, and (unless I'm mistaken) can activate its quick effect once on your turn and then again on your opponents' turn to lower attack values twice while also having the can't be targeted bit by default. If this had the protection effects built-in and got the extra effects if you used a level 7 monster (like you pick one and that was it), then it'd be worth considering.
