I watched S2 of Fargo and in the finale, one of the antagonists said how a king should start his reign with an act of kindness and an act of cruelty to show he’s capable of both. Boba did that, an act of kindness (having the slave girl freed) and an act of cruelty (killing Fortuna). I personally believe Boba will be better than Jabba, but won’t let people forget he was top bounty hunter for a reason. Edit: A lot of people don't seem to get what I mean. I was speaking from an in-universe perspective. Boba's showing he can be (hopefully) fair in leadership, but at the same time, making it clear to potential enemies he won't take their crap.

ok, where was killing a crime lord cruelty? That dude can be happy boba didnt throw HIM into the sarlac (althou the sarlac is dead by that point anyway). Boba will not go down as a crime lord, if feloni does that , it will undo anything boba showed and told us. 1. He IS a Mandalorian, Jango was one too and as we see CONSTANTLY in Mando, the code can vary AND be hold high even when being a bounty hunter. 2. He is honorable AF, he wanted revenge for his father , but he wanted it from face to face AND while doing jobs, he never resorted to more violence than nessesary (otherwise you can wipe out your target by seismic charge and its over anyway).

To be fair Thor Skywalker has covered a "rumour" that the people who work on the High Republic are connected to the people who made the sequels and that is why it was referenced in the High Republic, they have also talked down about the Mandalorian stealing hype. If Kathleen Kennedy leaves, I will give it 55/45 chance and if favrau or filoni etc takes over, the sequels are not gonna have a good time if filoni is George's Padawan. Thor Skywalker also speaks of how if Disney knows what they are doing Grogu will in no way be killed by Kylo or fall to the dark side, yes he has attachments but to quote you, Ani's nightmares didn't make him Vader, the Jedi neglecting him with the info he required and the tragedy of Darth Plaguies the wise. I guess Luke can forbid Din Djarin to visit but nah that's what the old Jedi do and he would not if filoni is in charge which leaves Palpatine who would not need him because he has Kylo

The rumor is ultimately just a rumor. Kathleen Kennedy's the executive producer, not a storywriter, and she isn't in some sort of "civil war" with Filoni and company. She had just as much of a role in The Mandalorian as she did in the Sequels; she's even got one of the top billings in the credits. Are they gonna avoid the Sequel era? Probably. But will they erase the Sequels from canon? Doubtful.

Geetsly's I’m hoping, however unlikely, that they’re heading towards two alternate universes. One where Ahsoka lives, tells mando about tython, changes Luke was a person and changes history. Or one where she died, and the sequels occur. Not de-canonizing, but separating that way everybody is happy. Like I said, seems unlikely, but hey, a guy can hope right?

For certain Boba is going to claim power for himself, starting on Tatooine, using Jabba's Palace as his stronghold. I think he will attempt to establish a legacy that Jango would be proud of, and that Jaster would be proud of. Potentially "cleaning up" the Underworld in a way. Potentially establishing a new Mercenary Guild based on Tatooine, we know there currently isnt one. Ultimately he will be an Ally to Din and other Mandos.

Here's another possible option, using the Hutt palace as a Mandalorian post serving as a location where the Mandalorian warriors can assemble and put together their plans to retake Mandalore. Will this option bring Boba into conflict with the rest of the criminal underworld? Most likely, there is where some of the adventures would probably lie.

Okay, I am all for Boba and Hando interacting, that would be awesome. I think LucasFilm might have learned a valuable lesson about simply discarding legacy characters. I think that Boba Fett is set up for an epic send-off where he gets out of the game, carves out his own little slice of the Galaxy, and acts as a mentor figure for the next generation of heroes.

I have a theroy, I think boba is going to secure his father's legacy, because when you think about it that's all boba has had his father and his legacy, maybe he came to the realization in that sarlac pit if he were to die so would his father and his creed, I think maybe as bobba forms his syndicate he will recreate the deathwatch and refound what his father believed to be true mandolorains, and secure his father's name by making the most deadly group of criminals ever seen trained in the ways of the deathwatch and taught the lesssons of jango, also maybe raise a successor I think it will either be our amazing assassin whose fought with bobba, or his daughter.
