Boruto isn't without its flaws, same with Naruto. Its a little scary that people only look at these flaws, and use them to define their entire outlook on the series. Its been over 8 years and I still hear the argument of "Boruto is an ungrateful brat, he hates his father and is a disgrace to the series" I'm not gonna force people to like, enjoy, or even watch/read the series. But it's baffling that people judge the whole series based on the first arc. Another thing that bothers me is people's dismay over the Naruto and Sasuke "nerfs" later in the series. Yet another argument that's used by people who hate/dislike the series, saying it should've never happened, etc. I guess people aren't allowed to get caught off guard. I've enjoyed the series since the start of OG Naruto, and read the manga of part one, as well as the anime. My only major gripe with the series was the absolutely horrible mismanagement of Studio Pierott's schedule. I'm glad they're fixing their shit, and part two will (apparently, and hopefully) come out seasonal. If for whatever reason part 2 isn't on a seasonal schedule, and is filled with way too much filler, my faith will diminish for the series (at least regarding the anime, the manga is great IMO)

I really love this part of Boruto. I know people hate that both Sasuke and Naruto were absent fathers, but I’ve always related it to manga writers who have children of their own. I’m sure a lot of them miss out on important events due to their schedules, and miss their families. Their families may even resent them for it. it takes a village to raise a child, and it’s good to have amazing people around you to help your child along the way. Good video as always

Ironically, Boruto is misunderstood by the fanbase much in the way that Naruto misunderstands his son. So much of the conversation is bogged down by annoying power scaling arguments, nitpicking every detail, contradictory arguments of characters being both too perfect but also too flawed, pulling single moments and lines of dialogue out of context to make some point about the writers "disrespecting X character," a lot of people completely missing the point of any given story arc or character arc, and so, so many double standards and catch 22s that the show gets held up to that Boruto was destined to be controversial, at the very least. Don't get me wrong, Boruto is not a perfect show. There's a myriad of issues, and unfortunately, many of the problems the anime suffers from originate from the manga's storytelling. Both versions have problems that are shared between them, and some are unique to their respective medium. These issues have gotten bad enough that, depending on how this current arc ends, I may drop the manga altogether. However, I've also found that Boruto has managed to be both interesting in thematic ways and emotionally resonant, for me at least. Kawaki and Sarada have both managed to become some of my favorite characters in the franchise and a almost all of the main cast, despite feeling like they *should* just be carbon copies of other characters, have actually managed to remain distinct and fleshed out characters, for the most part, despite sharing so many similarities with them on the outside, Boruto especially. Hopefully, your videos will be able to share some of the positive qualities of the show. There's such a glut of bad faith criticism out there, and I'd like to see that trend reversed some.
@nintendoloverin95672 жыл бұрын
I suppose it has a lot to do with expectations. Shippuden left with a bitter aftertaste since the Kaguya insert felt very rushed to some. People were skeptical where the story would go/could be taken to with this and obviously many casual fans set the bar high, thanks to Shippuden success. The first content that dropped was going to upset a lot of people inevitably. The artstyle change, the filler amount did not contribute in a positive way. People want something new, but they also fear change. Adapting to a more "in-your-face-modern" ninja world isn't something did easily. (A similar thing happened in The Legend of Korra, where the creators also chose to steer the setting towards a more industrial approach, causing people to miss the "good old") Unfavourable amount of screentime of favourite characters and unexplained (or rather not obvious enough explained) out of character behaviour caused many people to not even give it a fair chance, turning their backs on the show after a very short time already. The character set up of Boruto himself as an arrogant, cheating brat then sealed the deal for many to not even take a second look after a while, completely disregarding the storyline and character development opportunities such a character can create. With the average attention span going down and down nowadays, all of this was expected. Most people will hate on anything if it doesn't "Hook" them in the first few seconds. A sad reality, which however creates breathing room for very dedicated communities that do in fact, take their time and let a story be set up properly...
@Patrick-kh9hy2 жыл бұрын
You are so terribly wrong it makes me throw up. There is nothing wrong in complaining about powerscaling. This is the show about showing who is a better ninja and why. I dont mean better only in being a better "fighter" but also better life path, character and difficult choices of complex heroes, anti-heroes and villains. But the most exciting episodes are when you can see different ninja put against each other so its like at least 50% of the shows success. If the powerscaling is a bit off you can forgive and forget. But when powerscaling is a complete mess you cannot let it go when you are reminded every 5 seconds that it sucks. Look at this example: untouchable genius Sasuke from the war arc< blind Madara< Madara with rinnegan and the sacred tree chakra< Kaguya< Momoshiki
@beancheesedip83372 жыл бұрын
@Patrick this is what I'm talking about. There's plenty of legit reasons to dislike the show. Why do you have to make up reasons to dislike it? Boruto is only "stronger" than Momoshiki insofar as he was the one that got the final hit. By your logic, I guess Gohan was stronger than Goku in the Saiyan Saga because he was the last one to touch the spirit bomb that defeated Vegeta? It doesn't make any sense. Boruto was only able to beat Momoshiki because Naruto basically pumped all his chakra into Boruto's rasengan. Momoshiki was practically gift wrapped for Boruto, all he had to do was not fuck it up.
@accidentalmadness17082 жыл бұрын
@@Patrick-kh9hy are you referring to the time Boruto hit momo with a rasengan that was created by Naruto and only being maintained by Boruto? If you’re gonna cry than do it about something that’s worth complaining about like the cyborg siblings and their bs or the lack of sarada and Mitsuki love or something like that just not Boruto pulling off the shinobi version of a lay up on an already beaten and battered enemy using Naruto’s attack. Hell complain about sasuke completely missing borushiki getting ready to stab him in the eye or konohamaru being so irrelevant it’s not even funny just make it something that’s not stupid.
@Patrick-kh9hy2 жыл бұрын
@@beancheesedip8337 1. Im not talking about dragon ball so the reference is irrelevant here. 2. Thats my point - Im not making up any arguments to dislike Boruto. Was Momoshiki hit by a rasengan created by Naruto yes. Who was the one to hit Momoshiki Boruto. Should a genin with no real experience be able to hit someone at the level of Kakashi ? no - he couldnt even get the bells from Kakashi. Should he be able to hit Kakashi even he could see the future and Kakashi's moves - no as Kakashi's reflex should allow him to see how Boruto's muscels are moving and be simply faster before getting hit. Is Kakashi worse than Sasuke from the war arc. Yes. Sould Kakashi be faster even with his last "drops" of chakra? yes. So even if momoshiki had 0 chakra, but he had plenty for his "rasengan" he should be able to react in time. There is no reason why Boruto would be fast enough to keep up with Momoshiki. He already beat up Sasuke and now its Boruto and some of his clones.He sees Boruto, and is able to react and has so much time that he is able to create his own "rasengan". So he has chakra, has time to react. In this time Boruto is going for the final hit. Momoshiki just could jump behind him and before Boruto saw Momoshiki is gone, Momoshiki should be putting a black rod in Boruto's back. Many times genins and even joinins were shown to be looking one place and their enemy suddenly being behind them before they realised. But ok, lets say Momoshiki thought he was stronger than a genin - idk why but for some reason he could think that and he used his rasengan. When he saw he was losing he should have just jumped away and Boruto would hit his rasengan with Momoshiki's and Momoshiki would then jump away. Is this really so hard to imagine? So again why Momoshiki is better than Pain if he is so slow? Or why Boruto is suddenly so fast even Otstsuki a bit damaged but nonetheless otstsuki can barely keep up? Is a kid Naruto with kyuubi's chakra super fast? Would he be faster than Boruto? yes...would he be fast enough to get Momoshiki? Absolutely not as Sasuke with cursed mark was fast enough. So how the fck Boruto is this fast?

One thing I love about the Naruto/Boruto world is how it always moves foreword with its story. No retreads to be found here, like Star wars or Marvel. Always evolving, and building upon what came before. It takes a bold and creative story writer to do something like this. After all, I've heard many go on about how they want Naruto to be remade. Doing so would probably make money, but Kishimoto and Ikemoto seem to want the story they helm to move with the times, instead of staying stagnant. Hopefully with time the fandom will come to understand this better. Your videos certainly help that viewpoint reach more people so thank you!

Just like all of us they make mistakes time and time again only to learn time and time again. One of the reasons, why Boruto is a really good sequel, that because it shows us what happens with our boys after the big win. Even when you achieved it, the life continues. And that means new struggles to come, only for you to overcome them and progress further. Honestly, it really is just Sasuke not being there enough at first that Sarada couldn’t learn any Uchiha special jutsu’s. She really doesn’t know enough about her clan but it isn’t her fault. It may not be something Sasuke is willing to talk about but he really could just tell her what they used to be and what his goal is for the new Uchiha generation. It would bring them closer together and have Sarada sympathizing and willing to take over Sasuke’s will in the future. As for the thing with Naruto, I was also mad how he used his shadow clone to go to his own kid’s birthday mini part celebration. As mentioned in the video, the purpose of the shadow clone jutsu is to gather intel so you can have your actual self in the village and be there when your needed, just like how he had to be at Himawari’s birthday celebration and he wasn’t. It’s disappointing and sad honestly. Naruto knows this too from back when he was training with Kakashi and he taught him that. I just think if Naruto and Sasuke were better parents, maybe then Boruto wouldn’t hate his father and Sarada wouldn’t have thought Sakura wasn’t her mom and her parents didn’t love each other, just saying 🤷♀️

The issue with that is to be a good parent you first have to have a good role model to parent by Naruto never really had an actual father figure other than perhaps jiraya and he's really not all that good at that. And sauske had a father that never really saw him for who he was but rather a worse itachi whenever he interacted with him. So neither really had a good basis of knowledge on how to be a good parent.

I'm here as the lawyer of the bortuto haters for us to plead our case against the allegations that we hate boruto for hating sake, or were just following the hype, or were just stuck in the past and can't accept characters we like being done dirty. First of all I would like to list where I think boruto went right. I like the premise it sets up like a modernized shinobi world and how with advancing technologies there isn't much motivation for shinobis to get strong via harder means like training when there is a cheat to achieve the same level of strength faster and efficiently, as shown in the chunin exam arc. I also like character personality being actively and realistically based on either their environment or their parents setting a strong case for familial bonds such as sarada's story. I also like the realism of both naruto and sasuke being terrible spouses and fathers being that they both have no idea how a fuctional family is supposed to look like. Another thing I like is how they made everything realistic, like how everything that goes on doesn't have to happen on screen, we the viewer are just watching their lives we don't have to know every nitty gritty aspect of it ( this backfires a bit but I'll discuss that later) as shown with choji ending up with the red head chick or metal lees mysterious birth, it actually makes it look like real life. Now I've listed my personal likes of the anime let's talk about my issues with it. A. Let me start with the main one, their villains are mostly one sided: Boruta has had only 2 villains who have depth to them, the first being those simalcrum people that mitsuki related with (this is the arc where mitsuki became my favorite character) and the scientists guy from Kara. Those are the only times a villain had a clear motive or purpose other than to achieve strength or world domination. Most villains, being the otsutsiki are one sided, only reason they exist is for the characters to fight. We don't feel any pity for them at all when they die unlike itachi's death, pains death, kisames death, hell even madara got pity from some people when he died myswlf included. When a character dies u have to think about whether or not they deserved to die. And even if you want to make a character with simple goals. Make their personality likeable, make them charismatic, funny, entertaining to watch not just slap generic bad guy mp3 on their voice lines. Secondly boruto doesn't know how to build suspense are tension moments. The most sad scene in botuto for me is kuruma's death cause it was written and executed exceptionally. Unlike mugino's death, his death looked like the writers got tired of writing him and wanted to get rid of him. And let me be frank I liked mugino so to have him be killed like that reminded me of neji's death, completely useless and unimpactful to the story. Also stories that are supposed to teach a morale lesson don't do the job well, like the lesson supposed to be taught in the attck on hidden mist arc about how seeking revenge leads to more revenge, it just isn't played out well and I'm not even sure if this arc is canon or not. This brings me to the next issue. Filler episodes, I know I know you've heard this broken records too many times but here is where I say, having filler episodes isn't bad per say but having boring filler episodes is a different story. All of borutos filler episodes are dry and are not enjoyable to watch, unlike naruto part 1 filler which some times are even better than the actual canon episodes, naruto shippuden filler were mostly meh for me, sure there were a few good eps but mostly they were meh. The only boruto fillers i can handle are the ones that have mitsuki in them. 3. Unlikable main character: I've hated boruto as a character since ep1. I like mitsuki, shikadai, sarada, mugino, asuma's daughter cause their personalities are more likeable than borutos by a long shot which isn't good for an anime called BORUTO, his name is on it he should be loved by all. 3rdly: boruto hasn't earned a single thing in his life, he was born a genius, so the writers use this as an excuse to rarely ever show him training, and even if he is mostly what do we see him doing, it's god damned shuriken training he is rarely ever shown practicing anything else unless there is a bad guy for him to defeat but besides that he be throwing shuriken as his only visible point of training. Now i said that it's their life so we don't have to see everything they do, this makes it more realistic but god damn it he is the main character, privacy should be but a concept for him. I'm getting tired so this is the last one. Lastly all of you boruto fans like to say us haters should stop comparing boruto to naruto they are different people or anime or whatever idk why we shouldn't be doing that they are father and son but whatevs. But then tell that to boruto writers, tell them to stop using old characters to gaslight naruto fans to watch boruto because there is no reason on earth you can give me to explain why koji kashin had to look like Jaraya other than as a ploy to attract veiwers because of their liking of jaraya. Like for real the anime is called boruto but the fan favorite episode is the episode which has a naruto fight scene, not a boruto fight scene a NARUTO fight scene. I don't need to say anything more. There is a lot more I could say but this is already almost as long as an english essay you would be asked to write in university. So in conclusion boruto is a good idea to a sequel to naruto, I just wish it was better executed. I would love to see a remake of boruto where they fix a lot of plot holes and minor inconsistencies that annoy the hell out of me *cough* the weight of the robot miners in the hidden mist war arc *cough**cough*. I'm open for CIVIL conversations in the comments with people who have something to correct me about or if i missed something. Now if u escuse me I'm going to a gym as I try to explain to myself why I spent 30mins typing this.

Watched the video and still can't agree with you: 1. The villains are boring and uninspired. 2. The old generation was made to look weak and stupid 3. I can buy ancient sages and tailed beasts but aliens and cyborgs? I don't think so 4. The next-generation cast is uninteresting except for Sarada
@loyaltye2e3755 ай бұрын
the villans are decent, the old generation are strong but they arent the main focus, the new gen is supposed to surpass the old gen and even then the main two which are sasuke and naruto havent been nerfed or made look weak at all when they lost their powers it was to progress the story and shift the spotlight to the new gen. Its a new genereation which in that comes advancements, the cyborgs are a cool idea when done right like with delta, eida, and daemon. the new gen cast is good kawaki,boruto,sarada,code,daemon,eida, and etc. are all examples of good next gen cast. Your points mostly stem from the fact that you cant accept that thisnt naruto's story and it isnt the same age as what we saw in naruto.

@@loyaltye2e375 I don’t want decent villians, I want memorable and well written villains. None of Boruto’s villians hold a candle to Pain, the Akatsuki, Madara or Obito. Having cyborgs and aliens ruins the story, this ain’t Dragon Ball bro. It all started from Kaguya who ruined everything. Boruto’s cast is so forgettable and uninteresting you have to google their names to remember them. There’s a scene where Kiba, Lee, TenTen, Choji, and Konohamaru all fight Isshiki and get steam rolled. These fools all jump in a straight line instead of attacking him separately. Edit: I’m not asking them to beat Isshiki I’m asking them to put up a fight which they DON’T.

I just started watching Boruto, just the manga canon episodes, and I’m really liking it. It’s different than Naruto, which oddly ties into the theme of the show. Boruto being compared to Naruto, which reminds me of the metatarsal theme of Naruto being better than expected. It’s a cool trope the shows have established. One thing I wish Boruto did was when Boruto was shamed after the Chunin Exams I wish they had let that shame settle for longer before he redeemed himself. It would have really let the feeling of being a “loser” hated by the village feel real and would have made a much stronger impact on the character and the viewer. The fight with Momoshiki was all out awesomeness. It was so great to see Naruto and Sasuke fighting together at near full power. And their relationship has gotten to such an amazing place. To see how they trust each other and love each other is so wonderful to watch. Especially after watching the entire Naruto + Shippuden shows. There’s a gravity that can only be experienced by following their stories from beginning to end and the payoff is perfect. I just finished watching the Momoshiki arc and can’t wait to see how the show progresses. Great so far.

Naruto had one of the worst upbringings of any anime character. Man was taught he was a nobody and was also somehow simultaneously hated by everyone. Him being a perfect father really wouldnt make any sense. I do love how they made naruto flawed in this way. You see he still has scars from the lack of intimacy and love a family would have given him. He always wanted to be acknowledged, a family wasnt even a realistic goal in his mind. I feel like the idea that he could even be a father probably hit when he actually became one. His love for boruto created a child with the self esteem to stand up to him. He defends his mom and sisters from narutos avoidant tendencies, something that probably made the fans hate him. Really though, hes the only kid brave enough to stand up to Hokage. That makes Boruto special, i dont believe for a moment that his strong will isnt something naruto isnt grateful for. Is he an ass to his dad? Yeah, because his dad hasnt fully grown up yet. His dad is learning too. Its a cool dynamic

Just another fire video from hot boy, glad to see someone not outright dismiss boruto as a sequel. Especially hearing someone defend the writing of naruto in the series, I for one thought Naruto being a sort of absentee father worked perfectly. Not only for the reasons you've stated, but as we've seen with quite literally every hokage there is always some issue stemming between them and their children lol. Not only that but it's also quite easy to catch that this is a personal story from the author himself who has kids, I think plenty of the NEW GENERATION (old too but u get what i mean) can relate to this issue. I'm wondering though if you've caught up too the anime???? I think it actually helps the boruto story and characters alot........most of it.

@@HotBoySpicy Awsome, they truly go above and beyond for the manga adapted material. There are a couple anime original arcs I would recommend that really put the overall next generation cast in a better light. ACADEMY ENTRANCE ARC-EPISODE 1-15: This arc is a pretty good intro to Boruto and cast as people, it also has cool little callbacks to a certain important man within the shadows of the leafs history. SCHOOL TRIP ARC-EPISODES 25-32: This deals with a school trip to the new hidden mist village, and introduces a pretty solid character named Kagura MITSUKI DISSAPPEARANCE ARC-EPISODES 71-92: Well as it says Mitsuki disappears, it sounds similar to the Sasuke retrieval and is similar in idea but different in execution. The 2 part of it drags on a bit but the 3rd and final part is pretty good. JUGO ARC-EPISODES 98-103: This arc honestly isn't anything special, I just really like Jugo and Sumire who are heavily featured in this one lol KARA ACTUATION ARC- EPISODES 157-175: This one is probably one of the best in terms of pure action and has good character focus on all of new team 7, was a pretty cool watch.

There's definitely some parts of the anime that make zero sense and one can't really defend from a writing perspective due to their inconsistency and rushed feel, but the core of Boruto, particularly the manga is honestly pretty good. The monthly drops are a bit rough, would prefer if it was at least bi-weekly, but I wish more OG Naruto fans would give Boruto a fair shake.

@Kinda batooni How are Naruto and Sasauke treated like s**t? They brutalized Fused Momoshiki, a being beyond Kaguya. @Kinda batooni Naruto and Sasuke manhandle Fused Momoshiki even with only half their chakra. Naruto and Sasuke push Jigen to exhaust almost all his strength/chakra. Something that no other pair of Shinobi throughout history could ever hope to accomplish. Which ability should he have used to change the outcome of any of his fights? Sarada helps beat base Boro, she's evolved her base Sharingan to 3 Tomoe, learned Chidori, become proficient at copying jutsu from enemies or allies, enhanced her super strength, is immune to Eida for some reason, etc. She defeats Kawaki when he loses his karma. Borushiki is leagues stronger than pretty much everyone lol, course she is weaker than him, she's still a kid. You don't have to like Boruto, but a lot of your arguments seem more rooted in ignorance or finding excuses to hate the series. The anime filler has a lot of nonsense, same as OG Naruto/Shippuden. But the manga and the canon parts of the anime are pretty good.

The art style and animation i like, but the filler just feels too much like "we bought x ammount of episodes so produce more product". The manga has me hooked so i its doing something right.

Boruto has problems just like every franchise in existence does. People complain, and some complaints aren't without truth, but most of them come from people just not understanding the franchise. For example, Kishimoto has stated he wanted to dial back the insanity of combat, which he does. From what I gather, it's mostly people in the west that hate on Boruto because they don't have the context for a lot of things. I wish that the stuff from the novels got implemented better as there was a lot of context in them that is basically lost in the anime and manga. Overall, most of the problems stem from bad set up and the fact Kishimoto wasn't exactly involved to start with. It's part of the reason Sarada was drawn so.... unusually.

There is a theory that the history of Boruto is essentially a distorted mirror of Naruto, Naruto was born in difficult times and was lonely, but over the years he found a mentor, friends, love and became Hokage, Boruto was born in peacetime, he has parents, friends, etc., with time will also be love, what if in the case of Boruto it will be the other way around and he will lose everything he has over the years ... Those who watch anime see how Boruto is developing, from a child that he is a fan of technology, he turns into someone who looks at it with skepticism, he surpasses his father in intelligence at this age and took as an example a person who lives by wandering, he stated that he wants to be the shadow that supports the village leader secretly, he gradually transforms into a conservative who loves the shinobi world, traditional techniques, and so on. Moreover, he resembles a mixture of several characters from Naruto. We saw in the anime how the world of shinobi has become and that there are problems that are brewing. For example, how technologies conflict with the old ways, remember also the arc from Naruto about Asura and the theme of kings, now imagine that Naruto and Sasuke died and the Land of Fire is undergoing reforms where shinobi should not exist in the sense in which it exists and that the village system will be canceled , in that case, I'm sure Boruto will protect the villages and Kawaki will side with the Fire Lord

I have a lot to say about Boruto. When it comes to villains, Boruto's antagonists lack the depth that fans of the original Naruto series resonate with. The new villains are one-dimensional, simply evil without compelling backstories or reasons for their actions. characters like Momoshiki, whose motives were clear due to their Otsutsuki origins, the lack of complexity makes it challenging for fans to connect. Reflecting on characters like Kaguya, who had mysterious origins and fluctuating allegiances, I believe great villains are those with multidimensional personalities, expressing unexpected emotions and behaviours that captivate and interest the audience. Obito is the top villain in Naruto and Boruto. His backstory, seen in flashbacks, and how he's portrayed make it obvious he deserves that title. His character had different tones, from dark moments like summoning the Nine Tails to the lighter, goofy side as Tobi. Plus, his reasons for becoming a villain connected with many other characters in the series. Obito serves as a poignant example of what Naruto could have become if he took a darker path, creating numerous parallels that enhance the narrative. Similarly, characters like Gaara, growing up in a similar scenario to Naruto, showcase the impact of hatred on individuals and add depth to the series. Absolutely, the strength of a story often hinges on the quality of its antagonist. If the antagonist is poorly developed or uninteresting, it can significantly impact the overall greatness of the narrative. A compelling antagonist adds depth and challenges the protagonist, making the story more engaging and memorable. It can be disappointing when characters from Naruto Shippuden, whom fans have grown to love, are treated with disrespect in Boruto. The connection and attachment built with these characters can make it hard for fans to appreciate their portrayal in the sequel. Respecting the legacy of well-established characters is crucial for maintaining the continuity and satisfaction of long-time fans.

I appriciate your work and i admire your videos!!!But it is actually the first time that you made a mistake and that is the title of the video "Boruto the perfect sequel"...... many people are forgetting something really important......That the parts that you break down thematically Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring and the boruto movie, were the last naruto story that kishimoto wrote for naruto and his first intention was to release it as a last volume of chapters as a final closure in the naruto franchise(he stated that in his interview in 2015), but the greedy publishers had other ideas and sadly we are realizing it nowdays....The problems for the real naruto fans came after this when they announced a new anime and a manga. The fact that in naruto the writting explores themes about war, love, loneliness, hate and most notably how conflict affects people as a natural concequence(without love you don't have hate and without hate you don't have love)and makes them to justify their actions and their motives!!!!!! On the contrary in boruto there is nothing at all(and some themes that explores are just a recycle from naruto but in worse version) ...... All that exist is that bad aliens and bad cyborgs fight a bunch of brats that pretend to be ninja...... It is disrespectful and is so cheap for the naruto's legacy...(I will not talk about the horrendous powerscaling faults that this sequel cause to the naruto powerscaling system because it is too nerdy and has nothing to bo with the storytelling and i know many authors when their work becomes so mainstream and popular they don't give a shit about that, but as a fan of this franchise for 20 years me and many like me do!!!!! ) Sorry for sounding like a hater but believe me i was not in the beggining, l definetly didn't want a sequel because i was having a bad feeling but i said to myself "have hope" but the sad truth hit me and hit me hard... And I want to say one last thing but contains spoilers about the first scene kawaki vs boruto so if you don't want to be spoiled don't read it...... As for the kawaki's character (because i know that many of boruto's fans are going to tell me about his thematical presence in the story and how good he is)..... This is the most irritating thing about his character that the relationship with naruto thematically is a cheap copy of the obito+rin relationship and many of New gen fans don't even realizing it!!!!!!!!Kawaki his whole purpose as a character was to ignite the curiosity of naruto fans just for this shity first scene with Burruto above the destroyed konoha(again) they knew that with this shity marketing and with the curiosity of fans such as "what happened to naruto and konoha?" they knew that many fans should watch just from curiosity (thank god they were not many as the oricon sales proves until now)with this fucking scene they wanted to buy enough time to make this abomination of sequel and as a result more profit for them from milking the naruto franchise!!!!!!
