G30 540i makes with a tune 400hp, with fuel pump upgrade 500hp and hybrid turbo 650hp. So more potential then 535d with old, slower gearbox. Driving myself f31 335xd with stage 2 and thinking to upgrade to 540i before going ev.

i have an f10 530 , THAT trunk does not dwarfs anything except itself. have you seen the trunk of an Audi A6? ITS MASSSIVE , not in comparison, its just huge on its own. no BMW will ever have a big trunk due to engineering reasons. - 50/50 weight balance - long nose of car due to the line 6 engine/ turbos - rear wheel drive car suffer from the driveshaft going all the way back.

dr 70194 I think you are mistaken about mb being ahead. Just one example is the bmw remote and connected drive services. Mb only launched this app a few months ago while bmw has had this tech a few years already. Also the command online is very slow and certain important commands are hidden deep in the system. I think mb has a lot of catching up to do. Another useful bmw feature is remote 3d view. Comes in very handy.
