Hence the issue when folks test FW 'A' vs. FW 'B' on different quads. For the bobble: make sure BLheli settings are the same. Maybe battery placement is slightly shifted? BF 4.3 will have some P-term boosting built into AG to help with that. There are nightly builds if you are keen.

I set them up exactly identical. Does the radix fw have nightly builds?

@@EricKonasty , oh the Radix. No it does not. Log both for the same move. Would be interesting to see the difference and troubleshoot. I would be happy to check it for you. Make sure to record Gyro_Scaled Debug at 2k logging rate (in Blackbox tab). It logs if an SD card is inserted. No see not mess with Modes. spatzengr at yahoo.com

With rpm filters on, go in the motors tab and raise all the motors up. Make sure they are all reading the same rpm. You might have a weak esc or motor. I had a HW esc that flew find except some prop wash. Find one esc was a few undred rpm lower then the other 3.

oh man, i have a few bobble quads at the moment! I thought it was 4.2 so I put the old 3.5.7 on and it still had bobbles! On one of the quads I've swapped everything. Motors, FC, ESC so I concluded it was the frame. Recently I rebuilt it again...just because...and no bobbles. I give up.
@daich4 жыл бұрын
it's painful but maybe start swapping one component at a time between the bobble and not bobble and then we can find out in this instance, what is causing it
@REDhlg4 жыл бұрын
My motors used to do that when they weren't calibrated the same, but I assume you're on Dshot. You might check your blheli suite settings while you're in there...
@JackalFPV4 жыл бұрын
It can only be the hardware then... You could buy another set and replacing parts one at a time to see what does affect that unwanted behaviour. What do you think?

KABOB has been looking into this bobble issue for some time now and the betaflight DEVS said it's a BLHELI issue 🤷🏻♂️

Have you tried upping the minimum throttle a little?
@EricKonasty4 жыл бұрын
Yeah still has the wobble
@JWebbFPV4 жыл бұрын
Well the fact that you’re on 4.1 does not help at all. If you have discord I would give you a full tune, but for the time being - here’s some basic settings. Disable D-min, set I-term Relax to 16, anti gravity gain goes to 7, and set TPA to 0.4 - I’d say just go to 4.2 but if you want some more help hit me up 🤙

I’m on the radix flight control so that was the only firmware I saw maybe I missed their new one. But that being said it still shouldn’t have such a different issue if the other one flys perfect on the same settings

@@EricKonasty ah ok, I donno if you have already tried it but 3.5.7 works really good for 6"+ builds. I know I was getting the same thing with 4.1-4.2 so I rolled everything back to 3.5.7
