First and foremost, knives are tools not weapons. Sure, can be used as a weapon just like a pointy stick or a rock. Too many people have the wrong idea about knives. Guns are great, every law abiding citizen should have more than one, but guns are first and foremost made as weapons, that’s their point. Knives are tools, some are more applicability designed for self defense use but most are not. Everyone should have a knife on them, whatever size or type, for many reasons from food prep to safety such as cutting a strap/seatbelt. They are absolutely useful in everyday life.
