A lot of people are saying Caitlyn started the war. The war started after her son was thrown out a window, someone attempted to assassinate him, and then Ned dying because of his own naivete on how ruthless and stupid Cersei/Jofferey/Littlefinger could be.

Ned just didn’t take it.

Jaime will probably be killed by Stoneheart but resurrected by Thoros because he sees him in his flames, fighting the Others, or Euron, or Cersei. As a fire wight (he'll be hotter xd), he will have his golden hand liquid and fused in living red white (like Victarion's hand being burned and hot because of his infected wounds) recovering his old fighting skills and increased in speed like Beric's or in strength like Vic's. He will fight injustices in the River and Western Lands and probably even the Reach, and then even joining Sansa as queen in her quest to Kingslanding to reclaim justice for his father and his servents (she is the one that has a direct rivalry with her and the most motives to kill her, considering how she was manipulated and held hostage by Cersei and her son tortured her for an entire year, even menacing Sansa to r*pe her), falling both in love (she is younger and more beautiful than Cersei, so this new queen will take everything that the old one holds precious, wich means, she will take not only her power, her family's castle (yeah she probably will take Casterly Rock in vengeance), her 'most beautiful woman in the realm' status and of course, Jaime's love, (being the ultimate steep in his redemption arc, and considering how strong, powerful and smart Sansa will end up becoming thanks to her training with Littlefinger, she is very likely to be his last love interest before he dies (it would even match the song that we all have related to Jon (i loved a woman with red hair (Ygritte/Sansa, with silver hair (Dany/Brienne) and golden hair (Val/Cersei)). With all of this, and probably after she burns Kingslanding, marry Euron, i don't know, he will realize that his sister has to be stopped, and strangles her, with his flesh hand, and with his gold hand, indirectly and unwillingly acomplishing Tyrion's menace: 'one day your happiness will become ashes in your mouth.'

He's a very good man actually. Everything Jaime did can be explained quite easily. Being with his sister doesn't make him evil, it's who he loves. Tossing Bran from the window is the only thing he's shown to do that's morally dark gray in the book series. Not much different than killing a child with a bomb strapped to them. He did it to save the lives of his loved ones. Not because he gets off on that sort of thing. Jaime did nothing wrong. Selmy was the evil Kingsguard, he would've let King's Landing burn to protect his oath. Robert was evil, he looked the other way at many evils like the murder of children because who their parents were and even tried to have them killed himself. Also he would've cheated on Lyanna if he married her, a drunken adulterer through and through.

How was she dumber than Cersei? Cersei made lots of mistakes. She just gets bailed out by Tywin, LF, Tyrion. Releasing Jaime was a big mistake, but I think her other actions were defensible. Remember that it was Lysa who cost her Tyrion as a hostage. If she’d been able to keep Tyrion as a hostage, Tywin would have been in a tough spot. Tyrion was legally his heir, even if Tywin seemed delusional about it.
