Yo Muppet, the play was because peeps in Wall street over played their hand by borrowing more stock shares than existed and selling them to drive the price down totaling 140% more.. when there was any positive value driven news about GME the "short sellers AKA Wall street peeps" doubled down smashing any positive momentum.. Then WSB jumped in.. along with Michael Burry Dave Portnoi and others, many many others.. these guys created so much positive buying pressure the shorts got squeezed.. "Squeezed means the shares the shorts sold were going up in value.. meaning they will have to buy the shares back at a higher price than they sold them for, thus loosing money.. this Higher the price the more they could loose, if they have to cover their position.. The worst part was what happened with Robin Hood among other Brokerage platforms stopped Buying and allowed selling created a Negative pressure that was artificial. Many other brokerages had conveniently outages or massive amounts of lag.. IE place and order and it could take 10-15 minutes to process.. How and why this was allowed to happen should be investigated, but I doubt it will.. there are forces at play that will never let us hear about what really went down.. CAT

It's a pity that the Caterpillar product has become a huge joke in the industry and as a builder of new Cat machines i can tell you that the quality of the equipment has gone downhill very badly. We are receiving machines from the US, India and SE Asia that is extremely poor quality that require massive amounts of repairs before being delivered to the customer. All the trucks we are seeing from India require days of rewelding of chassis to allow parts to fit and just poor quality welds that require being gouged back and fully welded again. With all the "stickiness" they want to add, the question will remain... can you repair it once it breaks down (Right to Repair) or would CAT have to "give" you permission to repair your own equipment.

that's because they are a Chinese company now and Biden is the president. Anything related to China is going to do fantastic from now on in the United States is going to pay the price

so CAT are going to 'add stickiness to their customers', that means copying JD so people cannot repair their own machines, and will need the dealership to plug in a computer to re-enable onboard systems. With a projection of 28 billion dollars in services. There goes your right to repair your own equipment.

My dad was an engineer sent to service CAT machinery during the Vietnam War. My mom was worried sick for his safety, even though he was in the safe reserve areas. She needn't have to coz my dad had some wild times there with photos to show (which I discovered hidden away in a drawer when I was still a kid, lol)

Don't forget, their free cash flow has jumped due to the cutting of bonuses for upper managment. In some cases, cutting overall salary for some by 30%. So screw your longterm and most important employees to pump up the stock for the board and executives.

They improved their business strategy, bribe government officials which enables construction jobs to be made, bid the job with a totally new set of construction vehicles big and small into the bid price, then take the equipment to the auction yard auction it all off so your buddies benefit from a cheaper piece of construction equipment, and then bid the next job with all brand new Equipment and just keep doing it Over and over at the taxpayers expense, since corporations basically don’t pay taxes it’s a win win win situation
