Why Christians Should Not Own Guns

It might be in a Christian's best interest to not own a gun. No, for real, I'm dead serious.
I think this might be some of the best advice out there for Christians.

My dad always told me my whole life. There is NEVER under any circumstances a reason to steal. If you are hungry walk up to somebody’s house ,knock on the door and tell them you are hungry ad could you please get a sandwich. Somebody will give you a sandwich. Stealing is NEVER RIGHT. I don't think you should let anyone kill you or your family, nor would I encourage that. However, explain to me if Christianity is true how it would logically be moral to defend yourself if you're going to eternal bliss, and the attacker would go to eternal torment? You know it isn't morally right, because deep down you know there is no eternal bliss.

I'm now watching this video, I got a question, why did Jesus tell His disciples them to sell all they got to buy swords? You also don't need guns to hunt because whether you twist it or turn it, a gun is a gun, and Christian shouldn't own weapons right?, Also let's take away guns, would you fight back if someone is trying to hurt your wife or would watch that person kidnap her or kill her? What if that person is on drugs, a young teenager, would you defend your wife with your body, by punching the guy somewhere? Let's say you didn't think and you punch him to the head, boom, your defense turn into a murder, you just murdered someone, are you going to hell for defending your family and accidentally killing someone with the weapon of your hand?

Because there information you needa know. One Christians don’t get killed, the only way Christians do get killed is from spreading the word of God like a missionary( most of the disciples were and) which is why the Bible revelation 6:9 says just like your brothers and sister were killed for spreading the word) Christians don’t die from car accidents or falling off a building or getting shot or getting robbed and stabbed just like any other civilian would. And if you can do your bible research and look at all the men of God who fought battles and all only died of age . And the Christians who did die were the ones who actually spread the word and that was New Testament Jesus and his disciples. Bible says we are protected so we live like we are, to own a gun as a Christians says we don’t believe we are protected and that we need a firearm or knife to be protected at least for the 1% chance we randomly get robbed snd stabbed which isn’t possible if we have real faith not the half faith with believing in a weapon. And for a missionary to have a weapon also goes against God because if we kill someone trying to kill us as a missionary, we kill a man who hasn’t accepted Jesus and we have accepted Jesus and are ready to die any time. So we’d be hypocrites saving ourselves and killing or persecutor. If you work for the police as a Christian it’s different (any job that requires you to carry a gun) because you abide by that jobs rules. But for a Christian , we should not be carrying weapons

Lake of fire in the Bible is eternal cutting off. Humans do not burn. Sin is not burned. You can “read” the Bible all you want to, it’s another thing when you actually understand what is written.

It's interesting how you overlook that He put that armed person in a situation and gave them the idea that they should protect themselves and other innocent people. Bible clearly says use of guns in an offensive manner is not acceptable and I do see provisions for defense. Thou shall not kill includes hunting. Unless that animal may turn on you to kill you have no business pulling that trigger.

If you are an atheist you can say you don’t “have” a god, however you are still in a belief system which Atheism is a religion, just as Scientism is as well; what you can not say ever is that God doesn’t exist. If you are an Atheist know that evolution is incredibly flawed. It answers nothing. Why you grow old and die, why diseases exist world wide, why humanity is destroying the earth, humans corrupting all plant food into GMO using their so called science… DNA can’t evolve it’s created… who created the apes and why still today we have apes and never once has any turned into a human being. Male and female created - does not just evolve in this way. We have one creator whose design is “repeated” all over the entire earth. Humans at the top because they are made in the image of God, they are way “above” the created animals and have dominion over them. If you believe in evolution your evolution is corrupted and flawed with no answers. When you go to Church, they're forever telling you that God's watching over you, so where is he when this scenario happens? Does he not know? Of course he does. Can't he stop it? Well, of course he can! So why does he let it happen? A lesson? He wants to see you in Heaven (or Hell)? We're also told about 'Turning the other cheek', not killing the person who's in your house. You also don't actually know if he's going to kill you or not. The bottom line is, once again, there's no difference in the outcome whether there's a God or not. He never intervenes to save his own followers. His absence is as notable as the absence of the Second Coming, something that was clearly stated by Jesus as being something that his followers of the time would see in THEIR lifetime. We're still waiting...

Thanks for the comment, even if I disagree. I've read and studied the Bible for years. I was a Christian half my life, and I continue to still read the Bible on occasion just because I do spend some time arguing about it. It's been a while since I made this video, so I can't remember for certain, but I think my point was more about the logical aspects of it instead of any biblical teaching on it.
