Eh, that's because they're trying to train farmers and workers to fight soldiers. If they were working with local soldiers, instead of fighting them, the training would have gone much smoother, or way worse depending on how open they were to the help. Real life humans are much better at war than the SW humans. And a larger amount of us have both been in militaries and are serving in militaries compared to the total population of both the Earth and the Republic. Also if they had sent drill Sargents instead of SF, they probably would have been more effective. The problem is SF are elite and expect the guys they're training to meet a lower but similar level. A boot camp would just teach them team work and how to not run away and shoot back. SF are great soldiers but the not best trainers for the situation. Of course that's why we use SF, we aren't building an army, just some terrorists to help fight.

Something doesn’t add up. When Mando and Cara Dune first meet Moff Gideon on Navarro, Mando says his name was only in the records on Mandalore so that’s how he knows it’s really Gideon, who says he might recall what an EWEB is capable of based on its use during the Night of a Thousand Tears... which happened on Mandalore. BUT we later learn that Din Djarin is part of the Childern of the Watch and they don’t travel to Mandalore because they believe it’s cursed. That plus Mando thinks the Children of the Watch are the only real Mandalorians, but if he was on Mandalore he’d realize he was part of a small splinter group. His alleged presence on Mandalore during Moff Gideon’s assault is a massive contradiction to when he tells Bo Katan that he avoids it because he thinks it’s cursed. I could be wrong, but if I’m right then there’s some serious clarification needed from Dave Filoni. I love the show, but when I realized this I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. Please make a video on this or at least share your thoughts on it in the next video :)

Hey I’ve been wondering. Are there any Wookies that speak English, or any other language? If they can’t, then why not? As they can understand it when it’s spoken to them? I feel like the excuse is gonna be that their vocal cords can’t form any complex sounds, just roars and growls and moans and groans and whines... but I would argue that since they have very human looking mouths with tongues and teeth, and they can make all the noises they can, then they clearly could learn to speak other languages than just their own roaring language. Does anyone have an answer or example of a Wookie actually speaking?
@blefyplayswowable3 жыл бұрын
They're supposed to be hyper intelligent, even having their own hyperdrive technology, just preferring their wood over 'durasteel'. If we look at the iconic chewbacca it does seem they understand, but meet the human sorta halfway. But that's a non-answer. Here's what you're looking for Legends: Ralrracheen, the ambassador of kashyyk that had a speech impediment, which made him understandable to humans. Canon: no. Beyond that, the reasoning is what you'd expect; alien muscles and vocals, can't make the same earth ape noises that we know as English
@michaelhowze81983 жыл бұрын
Chimps and gorillas also have human like mouths yet cant speak. Because theynkack vocal cords so that's what's going on with wookies. They can understand and learn to sign I'd imagine. As apes are able to do so and wookies are certainly smarter then a chimp.
@keighlancoe59333 жыл бұрын
Some Humans can learn to speak Shyyriwook (Wookie language) but with great difficulty and such people are rare, however Wookies cannot learn to speak Galactic Basic (English) at all because their vocal chords can't make the sounds, but they can learn to understand it fluently, like Chewbacca.

The only instance of using locals that went well (that I know of) is Gaftikar. The Marits, who the human settlers had brought on-world to build settlements, were backed by the Republic, who brought in a Null ARC and later a Republic Commando squad to train and equip the lizards. Part of Special Forces' job description is working with and training local forces, so this went very well. (Read up on the Green Berets if you want, they exemplify this) The Marits hit targets to get the humans' attention, before an air assault from the 41st Elite crushed all resistance. Compare this to the shoestring operation on Onderon, and the difference is apparent. The Marits had no contact with regular Grand Army forces, and the men they _did_ work with were trained for the task. Needless to say, this state of affairs is the exception that proves the rule.

The Empire were big dumb dumbs. 1. Should of continued having a small elite force of clones. You dont need the Kimono to do the cloning since you can just take that tech and take your second best cloners. 1a. Lower the aging process and have them raised by the existing members of Vaders Fist by the time they are ready in their late teens the older clones would be phasing out due to advanced aging. 2. Droid Fighters were clearly superior just hook up Vulture droids to a Stardestroyer they have a limited range already and you can have more of them than tiafighters. Easily doubling the 70ish Tia. If your worried about pilots using them to rebel than they would need to take over the Stardestroyer so you would have bigger issues than just rouge fighters. Having the clones and droid armies fight each other than choosing the clones over droids only to toss them both out 18ish years later does not scan with me. Clones won ground wars while droids won Air. Clearly you just need to mix and match the two. Daddy Shiva clearly got dementia, forgot about the clone wars and was tripping balls when he decided to make the first and second death stars.

That is what the clone wars was described as in some of the old books before the prequels were made

We're their any locol defense forces or militia that were organized and decently armed enough that the clones did like working with? Also what did the clones think of the republic judicial forces and how often did they have work together?

Its crazy how the Clone Wars only lasted 3 years but it seems like it has so much more lore and stories than the Civil War which lasted far longer and was really what Star Wars was about

It was really 3 years????? I never knew that??? Damn that shit felt like it lasted longer or something. Why would the creators make it 3 years? 🤨. I actually thought it lasted 10 years or something tbh

Can you make a list of the local natives that fought for the republic just as you did the organic separatist forces.
