Eh, that's because they're trying to train farmers and workers to fight soldiers. If they were working with local soldiers, instead of fighting them, the training would have gone much smoother, or way worse depending on how open they were to the help. Real life humans are much better at war than the SW humans. And a larger amount of us have both been in militaries and are serving in militaries compared to the total population of both the Earth and the Republic. Also if they had sent drill Sargents instead of SF, they probably would have been more effective. The problem is SF are elite and expect the guys they're training to meet a lower but similar level. A boot camp would just teach them team work and how to not run away and shoot back. SF are great soldiers but the not best trainers for the situation. Of course that's why we use SF, we aren't building an army, just some terrorists to help fight.

When Mando and Cara Dune first meet Moff Gideon on Navarro, Mando says his name was only in the records on Mandalore so that’s how he knows it’s really Gideon, who says he might recall what an EWEB is capable of based on its use during the Night of a Thousand Tears... which happened on Mandalore. BUT we later learn that Din Djarin is part of the Childern of the Watch and they don’t travel to Mandalore because they believe it’s cursed. That plus Mando thinks the Children of the Watch are the only real Mandalorians, but if he was on Mandalore he’d realize he was part of a small splinter group. His alleged presence on Mandalore during Moff Gideon’s assault is a massive contradiction to when he tells Bo Katan that he avoids it because he thinks it’s cursed. I could be wrong, but if I’m right then there’s some serious clarification needed from Dave Filoni. I love the show, but when I realized this I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. “Or just lack of funding” wouldn’t they have the best weapons available if they were the best available under the reformation?

Hey I’ve been wondering. Are there any Wookies that speak English, or any other language? If they can’t, then why not? As they can understand it when it’s spoken to them? I feel like the excuse is gonna be that their vocal cords can’t form any complex sounds, just roars and growls and moans and groans and whines... but I would argue that since they have very human looking mouths with tongues and teeth, and they can make all the noises they can, then they clearly could learn to speak other languages than just their own roaring language. Does anyone have an answer or example of a Wookie actually speaking?

They're supposed to be hyper intelligent, even having their own hyperdrive technology, just preferring their wood over 'durasteel'. If we look at the iconic chewbacca it does seem they understand, but meet the human sorta halfway. But that's a non-answer. Here's what you're looking for Legends: Ralrracheen, the ambassador of kashyyk that had a speech impediment, which made him understandable to humans. Canon: no. Beyond that, the reasoning is what you'd expect; alien muscles and vocals, can't make the same earth ape noises that we know as English

Chimps and gorillas also have human like mouths yet cant speak. Because theynkack vocal cords so that's what's going on with wookies. They can understand and learn to sign I'd imagine. As apes are able to do so and wookies are certainly smarter then a chimp.

Some Humans can learn to speak Shyyriwook (Wookie language) but with great difficulty and such people are rare, however Wookies cannot learn to speak Galactic Basic (English) at all because their vocal chords can't make the sounds, but they can learn to understand it fluently, like Chewbacca.

I have a feeling we might see the Bad Batch on Kashyyyk in their upcoming series.

the invasion of kashyyyk never made much sense to me, so any reason they can add to it helps, but when the movie came out, was like why??assumed they just wanted to show kashyyk, one of them bucket list items,
