In the game, the reason all fossil Pokemon are part-Rock is because they're reanimated fossils. Becoming a fossil and then being brought back either makes you Rock, or presumably replaces an existing type if you were a dual-type. This means there's theoretically 'perfected' fossil 'mons that have DIFFERENT types, and perhaps different stats and abilities. Rampardos could be improved if a future game allowed fossil variants, and the "true" Rampardos was a Normal or Dragon type instead.

Another Pokemon the Rampardos Theorem applies to is Mega Beedrill. 150 base Attack, 145 base speed, Adaptability for double power on all STAB options, set up in Swords Dance & Fell Singer's +3 on KO, but you can sneeze on it and it will die it is so utterly frail.

If only it started with 145 Speed. If they just changed how Mega Evolution speed worked (if Megas were even still a thing) then I feel like Mega Beedrill could probably claw its way out of UU and into BL or maybe even low-tier OU. They did everything they could to make Beedrill's Mega as strong as possible, but it's always going to be a struggle when your turn 1 speed just isn't fast enough to make your massive attack worth it.

Really loved this video, it was very fun! And yeah, there are two answers for fixing Regigigas, in my opinion. 1. Give it a Hidden Ability attached to a Regigigas that is hard coded to be held back. Maybe it is hard coded to a nature that isn't the absolute best, like giving +Atk but -Def, maybe lock an IV spread on it. 2. Just make it so that Slow Start turns stack. Please. It wouldn't be very hard, and it also wouldn't hurt it too much. It still would have to survive 5 turns, after all, and not every Pokémon team will be able to do that. The only "easy turns" for it would be being U-Turned or anything similar in via a slow Pokémon, so it won't take a hit, using Protect, or facing down a Pokémon that doesn't do damage. Can't wait for the Bastiodon Theorem!

11:03 one suggestion ive seen for change Ing slow start is keep the 5 turns mabye allow it to keep its count even if its switched out but make it so that if your opponent cant get rid of it in those 5 tyrns you then have to deal with doubled attack and speed

Regigigas keeps getting done dirty. At least give him a Hidden Ability at this point. I'd even take a HA that only does something if your entire team is composed of Regis. Slow Start just hurts.

But that's the thing, to do that they have to code it to have more than one ability, which they haven't. I'd be down with a special event Regigigas.

Cracked Idea: since it's ability is supposed to "balance" Regigigas, make it's worth the "balance"! HP[200] Atk[200] Def[100] Sp.Atk[70] Sp.Def[100] Speed[100] Total[770] And give it Recover and a physical variant of Geomancy for good measure!~
