You need to completely heal from whatever issue from your past is attracting these type of women. Maybe you only go for attractive women. Maybe strippers or girls from shady backgrounds. In my case I didnt know what a narc was until my most recent relationship. Now looking back i have been with at least 5 narcs. I was raised by a mother that didn't show me love, so I accepted the love bombing stage from narc women for the love I didnt get as a child. Now I'm trying to heal. I've been single for 6mnths and while I do miss sex and the company of a women, I know I have work to do on myself or I will just fall for another trap. It's all spiritual n psychological. I don't believe in God so practice whatever works for you.

You are 100% correct. I am an older woman and I am lucky enough to have had a fair decent childhood where I was not abused. My dad was a heavy drinker, possibly an alcoholic. Knocked my mom around a little bit. But he was very good to me. Now as an adult I have very good relationships with men. I've had long-term monogamous relationships that were very happy. I have learned that not all men drink heavy and abuse their wives.

We learn things by experience. I do wish my family had tuned in more to what I was telling them when I reached out to them. At the same time I'm grateful they didn't because it's made me an even stronger version of me than ever before. It got to a point where my family moved away to get away from me and my ex. They felt like it was me pushing them away but it was me trying to just hold everything together and I was struggling HARD. When your daughter reaches out to you keep reminding her that you are there for her and she can either keep going through the cycle or jump off at any point. Actually listen to what she is saying when or if she ever calls you, because internally she is struggling and needs help.
