I'm not saying it doesn't but if you're going to start cliff diving start small, ask people that already don't for advice on timing, and go with a friend. Part of the reason the clam shell in La Jolla is closed off now is because to many people were cliff jumping and getting slammed into the rocks by the tide.

I did this while depriving myself of sleep and working 6 hour 5am shifts constantly! I studied Japanese for 4-5 hours everyday, did a hundred push ups and practice kendo each do, ran a mile each day, among other things improving in artwork and smash bros each day. Whenever id reach my limit id have an anime moment where i forced myself onward! I gained a ton of cool skills as a result but I stopped the daily schedule after a trip to the hospital, an ultrasound on one of my eyes, and 2-3 months where my body was absolutely destroyed drom the pace id set and maintained for roughly 8 months. The drawbacks are REAL

They explain this in detail after his "1000000%!" Scream at the hospital after his fight with muscular. They compare it to an average woman being able to lift a car off of her child which tears her muscles but allows her to do it regardless. It's super interesting how much realism is implemented in the quirks of the my hero world. Especially with quirks like Mirio's or Bakugo's
@Ardeleus
@Ardeleus Жыл бұрын
What I still dont get is Mirio's quirk which has an obvious flaw in logic. If he cannot see because even light passes through his eyes, how can other people still see him? 90% of his techniques are fake outs, so we know for a fact people dont see when he uses Permeation. But he should be able to at least see when he uses it then? Breathing and all that stuff yea sure makes sense, has to hold his breath, but sight?! It directly contradicts itself... Either he becomes invisible on the parts of himself that permeates because light passes through, leading to invisibility being part of his quirk and the drawback of being blind while permeating his eyes, and much less obvious fake outs happening... OR he can still see while using his quirk and everything is normal and dandy.

EXACTLY WHAT IM SAYING TOO!
@EazyDoesitxD
@EazyDoesitxD Жыл бұрын
@@Ardeleus ok I'll respond to the Mirio thing to clear it up. He can't see because light passes through him. People can see him because he isn't invisible just intangible. Meaning people can see him and perceive him but can't grasp or interact with him physically. Yes. Mirio's quirk doesn't have any signs of activation meaning his opponent won't know whe. He's using or on how much of his body he is using it. Why would he need to see himself use it? Also Mirio can still see as long as he isn't using permeate on his eye. The only time Mirio can't see is when he is underground or completely inside of something. Because then his eyes (along with the rest of him) would have to be intangible as well. Light passing through him wouldn't make him invisible. Like light more treats him like he isn't there rather than how it works with say Hakagure's quirk where the light bends around her to reflect he surroundings rather than herself. Which is why she is invisible but is still tangible and Mirio is visible but is intangible. Hope this helps quirks in my hero are very scientifically thought out it's interesting and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. 😊 the big issue with his quirk isn't the quirk it's the name. His quirk doesn't permeate him it makes him intangible. I suppose horikoshi named it Permeation because it sounds better than intangibility and because light does technically go through him. But still his quirk is to become intangible not to cause permeation.

I feel like this happens to me at work, which is an extremely physical job. 7pm will start rolling around, when I’m scheduled to leave (10 to 7 five days a week). There are still customer orders that need to be picked, bagged, and staged before going the dispensers, and then I still have to straighten up the backroom. So I KNOW I’ll be exhausted, but I get that adrenaline rush to run around the store with my cart to grab everything, bag it, in the totes, run it to staging, stage all the totes (they can be insanely heavy, and the carts get weighed down with near 500 pounds when it’s an almost all water Oversized run), turn in equipment, straighten the backroom, then finally clock out. When I get to the breakroom to grab my stuff, I usually end up collapsing into a chair and kinda deadzoning out for a few minutes. THAT’S when the adrenaline rush ends and I’m a hobbling zombie. 😅😅

In high school, I used a tactic similar to this. I watched a lot of one piece so i called it gear 6th: peak performance. But i gave it an artificial Japanese style name: renkai. I combined ren from HXH and bankai from bleach. It works best when I'm in a really good mood, or if I'm overly angry. Either way it makes me stronger and faster and it lowers my exhaustion rate Till I relax. But otherwise like captain America, I can do this all day.

I have reached that thing that you talk about. It's called going beyond the limiters. Every time I reach my limiter at anything, I aim to push beyond it and then I am beyond it. Then the limiter extents. For example: 1st limiter I surpass the 1 mile milestone and then I am able to run for 2 miles, when I surpass that then I can run 3 miles and so on (forgot to mention the recovery times that are necessary like sleep or rest, depending on the limiter and obstacle)

Instead, I kept saying outloud: “keep going, you can make it, don’t stop or you will pass out in this heat”. My car had broken down at my house, and the city transit bus wasn’t out at night like it should have been 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Could you or someone else let me know specifically which video(s) addresses self talk? I find that concept interesting but I don't have enough info to find out what studies this is referencing and what techniques are being used. Ty

I think I've done this before. I used to go outside in the snow barefoot without really feeling anything. I just don't think about the cold but instead think about random thoughts. Lol

The best way to safely harness it(for me at least) is to "get mad" I mentally replay my whole deployment in my head(while focusing on the "task" at hand in my mind's eye). Before I Deployed I replayed the moment where my so called Dad left a 7 year old me in a Van in front of a trap house so he could get a fix with his 304, all while I had to hide me and my infant brother (at the time) from fucking Tweakers...but I had to stop that because apparently there were times where I would yell "All I wanted was to go to my Aunt's house". Mentally thinking on those two moments somehow triggered Adrenaline to be pumping, or due to having PTSD from War Adrenaline is probably slightly pumping in me all of the time (because I have to gauge my strength for certain normal activities).
