Your knowledge of coverages is impressive but the quarterback has to have the time to actually throw the ball. Alabama's QB spent the whole game running for his life most of the times he tried to throw anything deep. By the end of the game he was hearing footsteps and seeing ghosts.

Jalen got rocked early, and didn't want that heat no more, started running side ways.... Good QBs check into slants or hots when there is 8 in the box or a blitz... Is Sheridan too dumb to put it in the offense or is it.... For 2 years, Jalen can't read and react quick enough to operate the offense that away??? We have 2 years, I haven't seen it very often - and the defensive philosophy to stop Jalen is PRESSURE, that hasn't changed because Jalen hasn't forced them to pay the price by getting the ball out quick...

@@s.k.1452 I do believe there are limitations in Jalen's passing game that he can make up with his legs. He can make plays nobody else in the country can, but he'll miss throwing windows too. Sheridan didn't put him in a good position to be sucessful at atll.

he had time here, and other parts of the game. I don't blame him, but the playcalling and spacing of the offense were terrible all night except when they went 2x2 most of the time. even the trips spacing was off and allowed Oklahoma to dictate to the offense...especially when Cuevas was in and not Dippre.

I'm going to disagree with you. They had the drops early-they said it was a lighting issue in Norman-but anytime they threw down field vertically and even to the flats on the crossers they ran, someone was open. They called too many quarterback-designed runs to really get the offense moving.

@@THarjo-ks6pf both ryan williams scoring plays that were either flagged/stepped out showed differently. Sheridan just didn't call what would have worked consistently and it showed. Venables and his staff knew it too.

everybody been had a bag man lol...them failing to score vs Oklahoma had nothing to do with NIL and more with what the coaches failed to do. Can't go broke taking a profit, but you have to take the profit.
