I think it's funny you brought up Lindsey Ellis at the end because I think she did deserve her cancelation. Not because she did anything wrong, but because in her big video to debunk all the criticisms about her she apologized for most of the criticisms and more or less validated them when she should've dismissed as mischaracterzation from bad faith actors. Heck even in Lindsey's video she brought up Justine Sacco and said she deserved her cancelation not seeing any parallel to her own situation.

It would be nice if the team did something that didnt last 3 episodes or so for major change The status quo is annoying and changing things up can help. If not, Joseph would still be younger without a mustache and Nancy would still be with John Redcorn in secret FG also had Cleveland gone for s long while so its possible to make some changes to the status

The status quo is annoying as hell, especially when they'll drive characters into the ground and stick with that instead of any good development. Brian used to be great, but then they ruined him, and that's just became the joke. Chris used to be just a little dumb with the aspect of actually being an artist, but then they scrapped that entirely to just make him a horny teenager. Lois and Bonnie used to be incredibly respectable women, but then they were turned into cheating hussies despite their many years of marriage. They introduced Ida as a trans character, (great, some representation!) and now she just exists as a way to diss Brian and Quagmire because she's trans (boo, icky.) Cleveland left and got his own show, (I actually loved it, it was such a good departure from Family Guy in my opinion) but now everyone just makes fun of him for it and his whole family is practically nonexistent except maybe Donna being one of Lois' friends and that one episode where Peter was just being accused of a hate crime for Cleveland Jr. The list goes of characters who got good things only for them to become progressively worse because of the damned status quo goes on. The only one that I don't think gets it as badly is Meg. She started off as the general pushover, but then they started making her incredibly unhinged and harder to be harassed. All-in-all, I agree, they need to shake it up, and for the BETTER. I'd personally love an episode where Brian goes on a journey to become his old respectable self again.

It lasts for say 2 to 3 seasons for new episode material It's like when Jerry and Beth from Rick and Morty took time off to better themselves That's what Peter and Lois need. And it'd give the Cleveland show kids a chance to shine by befriending the Griffin kids and helping them through the divorce

Starts to go to therapy, then does college courses from home. Then after he does this he manages to write something good, and he doesn't rub it in. Just is all "I feel honored!"

@@theanimeunderworld8338 Could see that as a way to fix Joe as well, maybe the divorce results in NEITHER parent wanting to deal with the kids, or at least are too stressed to do so. So the kids end up being SPLIT between two of the families. The Browns AND the Swansons. With Stewie and Brian living with the Swansons. Stewie even helping Joe regain his confidence, and later... Gives him experimental robotic legs, but with occasional glitches. *Remotes can interfere with them on occasion for example.* Possibly at a point Joe MISSES the chair and sits in it when he can, especially after he realizes it helps TRICK criminals into thinking he is weaker and slower. Then BAM goes running towards them.

Personally I would've been fine with them bringing Brian back to life if they didn't do it like 3 episodes later. Maybe they could've done his death episode at the beginning of the season then bring him back at the end of it, or at the beginning of next season. They did this with Kenny on South Park so it could work

i think Brian was the perfect character to do this with because his running gags is that he is a self described "liberal" but his behavior and actions are often hypocritical to that self label. him trying to be eddy and sarcastic to mock his own "white dog priviledge" is perfectly analogous to what the lady did.

I think I figured out a way to make this episode better. We see earlier that these people are so nuts they consider "Have a nice day" a micro-aggression. So why not have them react similarly to Brian tweeting something like "Going to see X, hope it's good". This would play into his later attempt to apologize as they are to over correct.

The stereotype came around because of boomers who protested the Vietnam War. It’s not even up to date! Anyone who believes this stereotype you can pretty much dismiss, since they’ve never been to college while working. The young people who protest now are people with actual issues who make time to do it. But try telling that to a boomer; they really believe everyone wants to be like them.
