Probably the stress caused him to have an episode, but the problem was already there.

Years of abuse from his grandfather probably had some part in this. Stress definitely brings it out.

His family kept his schizophrenia hidden from her and he was afraid to disclose it so he kept his distance. The scene before he had an episode and she notices and it finally starts them on the road to a better relationship.

I remember a documentary that traced king George’s insanity up and down the family line. They went up to king James and queen Mary, and down into living descendants. What ever it is, it’s genetic.

Wat a cross for a queen to bear 😢. It myt not even have been the weight of the kingdom or his mother it myt be this science he’s been drowning himself in. Perhaps he can leave that to the scientist n focus on being a husband n king. That way his mother can get off his bck as well.
