Those 1.8t engines are crazy. I know some people running so much boost on stock internals, that you think it will blow up soon, but they're still running strong. Same story for the 1.9tdi from vw too. But diesels are for the dark side of the force.

If you go to a daily driver route then nice 18 inch wheels, big brakes and air suspension will do the job to make it pop. Engine mods to squeeze some more power will be fun to watch. Other rout will be more sporty, wide body mods, maybe rear spoiler and tint the front and rear lights and front grill.

I bought my first car recently, a VW Bora 1.6 Highline from 2005 with 145k miles for £650 and spent £1604.09 on insurance! I already spent £200 on fluids and front brakes. I still need to get rid of rust, air con doesn't work and a few other problems. One day I want to have a Bora with an R32 Golf engine and drivetrain.
@captiansparkles81396 жыл бұрын
BEARD GANG!! They have a Jetta in the USA which is the same as the Bora. I looked at insurance and mine should go down to just over £900 a year when I turn 18 and get one year no claims so not too bad. But a 1.6 bora is pretty slow. Mines currently stock because I don't drive it a lot at the moment.
@captiansparkles81396 жыл бұрын
BEARD GANG!! I live in Leamington Spa which is in Warwickshire. I had the car for a month and plan on driving it for at least two years so I can earn no claims discount. The insurance uses a black box so I can't drive like crazy but by no means is it a fast or sporty car so I'm not too bothered.

Milan, I have also an 1.8T and have been working on it the last few months, if its not the oil-pressure sensor, than you have to change the oil pick-up tube (head does not get enough oil, pickup gets clothed), if that does not fix the problem you have to clean the engine of the sludge the engines have (head does not get enough oil, oil tunnels are full of sludge) !!!

Pro tip: Always have 2 ignition coils ready to be installed on the trunk. Because they always fail in pairs and it will get you stranded. Personal experience: 1.8T A6 Avant ran perfectly fine. In the middle of overtaking a bus it suddenly started misfiring. Pulled over and it was idling on 2 cylinders. Had to tow it.
@kajetanrabiega60306 жыл бұрын
To keep the budget low, you could buy some nice used wheels, fix em up and throw them on the Audi with some fresh rubber. Also you could do a budget exhaust and tune the car stock as it is. I've heard you can squeeze a few additional horses out of these engines.
@DriftKingJT2006 жыл бұрын

I'm not sure how you feel about it but it's still an automatic. To me, that means it won't be as much fun to drive but it could be a more practical daily if that's what you're after. I would detail it, flip it and then buy something with the right number of pedals but that's all up to you in the end. I am interested to see how much you can get for it immediately after the detailing though and also to see it looking nicer than it does. I know at the end of the day it's just a machine but I can't help but feel sorry for it looking like that! I'll be following it for sure

Yeah this is going to be a good series. The detail vids alone are going to be a massive change. Can't wait for this one. For an upgrade I am hoping you do some new wheels because those that are on the car look dated and makes the car look old. Personally I would also change the radio to a double din nav model. There are plenty of cheap andriod units available that will give you navigation, DVD, and bluetooth. That should up the resale on that vehicle afterward. If you want to do a crazy upgrade throw airlift on that car, LOL.

I am so excited about this season for you Milan. I actually own almost exact same car AUDI A4 2002 3.0L. My question to you is this when i first start up the car the headlights complete a quick movement check up and down. I had a mechanic replace the AC compressor and ever since he did that my headlights do not move. Also, I now have a dashboard light for "Dynamic Headlight Dimmer Control". How can i fix this without going to the dealership please? You may not know this on your Audi but there is a "Middle" visor and secret compartments underneath driver and passager seat :). I watch a lot of your videos and can't wait to see more about the Audi.
