That is the model Canoe I bought my Dad for Christmas a couple of years ago. I thought it was so nice I decided to buy my first case knife (Sod Buster Jr) . Now about 100 knives later 😂 I finally bought my own Case Canoe but I got the pocket worn grey bone. I sharpened my Dads Canoe a few months back. He has quite the Patina on it now. Thanks Tom.

Thanks for the tutorial on how you clean knives. Also think the canoe pattern is worth exploring. I have some Rough Riders Desert Fox knives -- hunter, trapper and barlow. I will check it out and see if they have a matching one in the canoe pattern. Would be a great intro to the canoe.

You're welcome, David. The Canoe's biggest plus is that the curve of the bolster covers the blade tangs. Easy to put in/take out of your pocket, and it doesn't cause wear on your pocket. Thanks for watching, my friend.

Sometimes the gritty feeling is coming from the back springs and back spring pin. Once the back spring pin and springs are cleaned and oiled the action improves from use.👍
