hi, I see your view, but is not true. God created you and me as good and in His own very image (Genesis 1:26-27). The flaw of sin entered the world through human disobedience, not God's design (Romans 5:12). God's desire is not to doom us but to save us. John 3:17 says, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” God offers grace and forgiveness to all who believe (Ephesians 2:8-9). He desires a loving relationship with us, not torture (2 Peter 3:9).

@MarcosTEN4518 күн бұрын
God the Creator or all things made us into his image and good! But Adam and Eve chose to disobey his command, and sin entered the world (Genesis 1:26-31, Romans 5:12). Is important to understand that the Lord is just and holy. and Sin must be punished, this is the reason why He sent His Son Jesus to take our punishment on the cross (1 Peter 2:24, Romans 4:25). We don’t blame people for their problems. Sin is the problem, for affecting everyone. Now as believers in the (good news) the Gospel, our part starts from showing love and helping others (John 9:1-3, Galatians 6:2). It’s okay to have questions. God wants a relationship with you. Seek Him, and He will help you understand (James 1:5). God bless you all.

@@MarcosTEN45 I can forgive others for what they do, without punishing them. Why can’t god? Why did he need to punish Jesus for what others do? That doesn’t seem just and good to me. He created Eve without the capability to understand good and evil. He placed the tree of knowledge right by her. Then, punished all humanity for her act, which she couldn’t know was wrong, because she had no discernment to know better. I like that you mentioned showing love and helping others, both very good things.

@@SpaceLordof75 God can forgive without the punishment, that is the point of the cross. When Jesus died and rose again, which was necessary for us to see death being conquered because that will also happen to those who believe in Him. The foundation of Christianity was built on the faith of those who saw Him die and rise again. If He didn't rise again then His disciples wouldn't have faith. I wouldn't look at it necessarily as punishing Jesus, but out of His love for us He willingly sacrificed Himself to die for our sins, He died and rose again so we can live. It was willing out of love. I think it's really important to know that although Adam and Eve were the first to sin, that we would all do the same in their situation because we have free will every single day just like they did and we also choose to sin. Hi friend that's a good question, it's important to know that without Jesus' sacrifice, we would face the full penalty for our sins, which is separation from God according to the book of (Romans 6:23). the mission of Jesus coming to Earth was to die to take our punishment and offer us forgiveness (1 Peter 2:24). And because of Him, we can be made right with God and receive eternal life (John 3:16). I'm not the Teacher, but I'll tell you what I can recall. Without getting too complex: Jesus dying fulfilled the law. By fulfilling the law of sin, it no longer has power over us and can not identify us as sinners. The second part of your question: Yes, IF you still believe in the old law because it will have power over you because you can not overcome the law of old. Only Jesus was able to overcome. No eternal punishment if you believe in the real things that Jesus did and who he really is. In the context of your question, he is now "The Judge" to always testify to God on our behalf. @michaelwilmshurst1579 Hope this helps

But, like any gift we must receive it. God is too loving to force himself on us. If you decide that you want nothing to do with Christ you not only deny Him but His gift which is eternal life for you. It also means that the debt you owe for all your sins is still on your head. Hope this makes a bit more sense. God bless!

@@2l84me8 Ok, didn't want to be rude. Just sharing for information.. In the Bible, the concept of free will is implied through various verses. It emphasizes that humans have the ability to choose between good and evil. For example, Deuteronomy 30:19 encourages people to choose life and blessings, indicating that they have the power to make decisions. While the Bible may not explicitly use the term "free will," it supports the idea that God created us with the capacity to make choices (Genesis 2:16-17). Jesus died because Jesus taught a new doctrine, and for this Jesus suffered death. Where then is the freedom of speech, thought and opinion? Jesus' teachings were felt to be seditious! Jesus' teachings upset religious authorities, who wanted to remain in power. Religious authories believed Jesus was revolutionary, and thought Jesus wanted their power; but they were wrong. Jesus had no use for earthly power! No desire whatsoever for any of the things most people crave and mistakenly believe will make them happy. Jesus knew better! Jesus knew that happiness could never exist where Love was not. Jesus came to teach Love, not to grab for power; not even spiritual power. Jesus also did not come to build a "church" or create a "religion," but to correct the distortions within the Scriptures. This is Jesus' intent today, as many of the teachings are misunderstood and are distortions of the message of Love.

Feeling guilty to God for not living as He intended doesn't give power to any person or institute over you but only God. Guilt is repentance and acknowledgment of your shortcomings and humbles yourself and your heart. You give your power to many different things every day, and you should feel guilty for not giving it to the only one that truly loves you.

I have a question I can't get an answer to. If Adam and Eve did not know good and evil how are they able to follow a command that requires a knowledge of good and evil? If you tell me not to do something but I didn't know good nor bad I would have no basis to understand your demand.
@MarcosTEN4518 күн бұрын
Adam and Eve had a relationship with God and could trust Him. They didn’t need to know good and evil to follow His command. God’s command was clear: they could eat from any tree except one (Genesis 2:16-17). Their choice to disobey came from a desire to gain knowledge, not because they understood good and evil. They chose to trust the serpent instead of God, which led to their disobedience (Genesis 3:1-6).
@britishrocklovingyank349118 күн бұрын
@MarcosTEN45 You have to understand wrong or right to understand don't. Without that knowledge you don't function. You would walk into a tree and spend the rest of your life trying to walk through it because you don't know what you are doing is negative.

So why can’t god snap his fingers and “cure” people of this disease, or just choose to forgive them and allow them to go to heaven? If he’s all powerful he could just do that? Why have animal sacrifices? Why does sacrificing a human/god fix? Does god have a thing for blood sacrifice? Like this just doesn’t make sense
@hitman57829 күн бұрын
Yeah, according to the bible god loves the smell of burning flesh. Well, either that´s true or some hungry priests made this nonsense up to have deluded morons bring them food. But that can´t be true, right? Same with this story where Moses walked on a mountain (where nobody could see him) and came back with a stone full of ancient primitive rules. If I had been there my first thoughts would have been, that he just made it up. I am so shocked that we can live in a modern world and still have BILLIONS of people believe in such nonsense. What a shame for our entire modern species.

@NathanBB20052 жыл бұрын
What I don't understand though is that God decided we had to be punished, so if Jesus was God then why would he have to do our punishment for us rather than just changing the rules so that all who accept him can be forgiven. For example, if a child is having too much trouble following a rule and you put them on a 10 minute time out but your child can only handle 5 minutes and you allow them to be pardoned if they apologise, do you have to sit the other 5 minutes or can you just forgive the child? My point is that punishment is supposed to be used to teach the transgressor and Jesus dying on the cross shouldn't be needed for him to forgive our sins if he is the one who was going to punish us in the first place
@Pyroverbs2052 жыл бұрын
Because God is also perfectly just. He must do perfect and righteousness justice/judgment. But God is also merciful and forgiving. So, how can He forgive/be merciful and be just at the same time? Also, sin isn't simply not following some random rule, it's also putting someone at a disadvantage. Like lying, stealing, killing, dishonoring...these are things done against someone. It is then right for the offended person to feel a sense of injustice if nothing is done to punish the offender (or to even reward said offender). The offended being the person sinned against and God (Who created the offended person). *With sin someone always bears the loss.* Go check out and watch "Cosmic Child Abuse" from American Gospel. Better to read the Bible and properly understand it. God bless

@@Pyroverbs205 He is perfectly just yet he punishes the one man who didn't sin? How does that even make sense?
@Pyroverbs2052 жыл бұрын
@@mcmc633 He is perfectly just and perform perfect and full justice/judgment. Someone has to bear the penalty of sin (sin done against God and others). Someone must. (Because perfect and full justice must be served.) And that someone to be punished (even according to what you're trying to say) *should be the sinner that sinned,* right? So, how can God save the sinner so that *they won't have to be punished* (given that He, being the just and righteous Judge, must perfectly and fully punish the sinner *according to their sin)?* (Note: according to their *SIN)*
