Sometimes, it's good to _know_ truth, especially _the_ Truth that leads to being saved. Because obviously we don't want this... Hosea 4:6 NKJV - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. But that's not the only reason God will conceal knowledge, even to the point of deliberately hiding things that are seemingly in plain sight in Scriptures. First, for protection. There are things in the Bible that are on a need-to-know basis. The phrase _ignorance is bliss_ isn't in Scripture, but Solomon comes pretty close with this... Ecclesiastes 1:18 NKJV - For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. Also, God makes things harder to understand because He expects us to _make an effort_ and _seek after_ truth, not just dump it in our laps... Proverbs 25:2 ESV - It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

So I read my Bible I pray I accepted Christ as my lord and savior but I’m not gonna lie Jesus parables are confusing I’m doing my best to understand them but right now I don’t so does that mean I’m not saved. I ask because Jesus said believe in him and what he did and you would be saved salvation is a free gift, idk I’m just confused.

Congrats on accepting Jesus christ as your savior. You have holy sprit who reveals truth, ask holy spirit to help you understand plus ask for wisdom and receive it. What also helped me were the basic Bible teaching by Andrew Wommack, he is his teachings on KZbin too.

"Deception is an election." (Willful blindness; John 3:19-20, "because they refused to love the truth and so be saved, but rather took pleasure in unrighteousness). "Deceived people don't know that they're deceived. " Which makes me think of Matthew 7:21-23. 'Lord we did many mighty works in your name...'

Because only a few has been given to understand the secrets of the kingdom, but it has not been given to the church. The church certainly hear the word of God, but the church still live and think according to the false teachings of religious teachers. Their consciousness is unknowing and empty, therefore the church must first learn to live and think. What would be better to make the church come alive and think, if not through speaking in parables?

I never tried to hide mysteries from anyone, not then and not now. The gospel writers ommitted my interpretations then, but now i explain everything, ask me whatever you wish if you have any doubts

The question is election, did the Disciples chose Jesus or did Jesus chose them? Didn't Jesus tell the Father that all you have given me I have kept except the son of perdition?
