Yoh that part when you said "when Jesus looks at you and says you still dont have enough faith" - Oh man hit me hard, we had a MightyMen meeting in South Africa 3 months ago which I was at. And my friend who I went with who has child like faith was called upon by the Holy Spirit with 3 other gentleman to pray over a old man who was in a wheelchair. This old man literally didnt have any hips and he got up and walked after powerful prayers over him. It happened right in front of me and even the circumstances leading to us sitting where we were was a miracle in itself. Praise Jesus and just as you said here even witnessing things like this there are times when worry hits me and I look inward to sort out my issues and Jesus says "Hey, keep your eyes on me" Ah man I just love the Lord so much and I am so grateful even when my faith lacks I will keep running back to my Heavenly Father! Thank you for your words brother!

@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry Br. B. you have studied and explained things in your teachings that I have pondered most of my adult faith life. Your emphasis on culture, language, history and the individuals in the time of Jesus and before, takes me far beyond the Bible to new places and ideas. It is my pleasure to be a part of your ministry. Thank you for your wonderful lessons and prayers. Those prayers can warm an old heart.

Oh my brother Brandon, I can so see in my mind now Jesus dropping the mic!!! 🤣 your true honesty about "knowing EXACTLY what it all means" and admitting we can't" is BEAUTIFUL!! Especially for a Pastor to admit! But let's face it HE SAID WE WOULD NOT! We can try our best but our spirits NEED to grow. I suppose better put, we need to let them grow! But we can read it 100 times before that Revaluation may hit us!! And you FINALLY get to (OH THAT'S WHAT THAT MEANS) is awesome to me!! Thanks again for a wonderful video and explaining so we all can better understand! SEED, PLANT, HARVEST, (not only everything we eat, touch, see,, and WE, came through that law)!! GLORY BE TO GOD! God Bless 🙏❣

8:21 you're absolutely right here... I up until not long ago used to claim that the Bible was "illegible" in English, it simply couldn't be read or understood... then I watched "The Chosen". Then I began to want to get into my Gospels and Bible. Suddenly I'm now able to look in my cherished Gideons New Testament and be blown away at not just how "legible" it is, but how it speaks EXACTLY to my situation and life. Praise God now and forever.

I'm super blessed by this message. The part when you talked about after God had answered your prayers and you've seen mighty workings of the holy spirit and God still asks you, "do you have faith", it's like you were talking to me. Last year, I passed through a lot, I lost my mum the previous years, lost a lot of money, my laptop was stolen and I didn't have any means to pay my school fees, I was almost depressed if not for people around me God used for me and funny enough, God came through in a miraculous way that I could never imagine. Similar thing happened this year, no means to pay school fees, I was owing my rent and there was a business I entered into with some people that didn't go well and I ran into debt. I was almost doubting God cause I didn't know what else I could do or where I could look to, coupled with all of these was the fact that because of my greed, I was duped and I had to sell my phone to pay the debt. Since then I just put my trust in God and he surprised my family and I in a very big way and as I speak, I'm writing this testimony with a new phone. This is is just a few of the great things God has done in my life this year and it reminds me of a passage in I think Hebrews where it said, "...if we are faithless, he's ever faithful..." I really need to repent from everytime I've not had faith and as you said, give him our all and by so doing, more would be added. Thank you Mr Brandon. I really appreciate sir. God bless you.

Jesus healed me when i was a toddler although i do not remember it. My Mom did and told me what had happened. I was born prematurely, i was 3 lbs 5 oz at birth and healthy in most ways. When i started growing older however her doctor noticed that my spine was severely misaligned, i had a hard time learning to sit up and could not do it without being held. By the time i was 15 months old while most children at that age are walking, i was still struggling to crawl. At this point her doctor was suggesting surgery with the risk of me either needing a back brace at the least or being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life at the worst if it did not work. We took a trip to New York to visit my Grandparents and they during that trip brought my parents and i to their church on a Sunday Morning. The Pastor during his sermon saw my Mom and me and asked her to come up front so she did with me in her arms. According to her he told her to put me down on the floor which she did and he starting praying along with other members of the church. She told me after not talking a step or even standing upright by myself, all of a sudden i stood up and ran to my Grandfather, not walked, ran to him. Jesus had healed me and everyone starting singing and praising God. She said it was like a bolt of electricity had gone through me. When we returned home, her doctor was astonished to find out that my spine was completely normal. I thank God for healing me even through i have no memory of it because of my age then.

Thank you for explaining these parables, it all makes sense now. I've read them many times and sort of understood them, but not entirely or at a deeper level. Much of what Jesus said when he was teaching is so deep that it goes right over my head sometimes. Thankfully, there are people like you, who the Holy Spirit is using, to teach us these deeper things that Jesus was teaching us.

Thank you for your time for us to help us learn the Bible, I hear you talk about the Bible I learn more and more each time. Some things I've learned growing up, After many years gone by and not reading the Bible, I'v seen like the ten commandments and the passion of Chris, and much more biblical movies that helped me understand what Jesus was like back then. I didn't know that we were supposed to learn to read the scriptures and memorize them too That's way it blew my mind that you mention that the Jewish people had to memorize the scriptures that's a lot to handle for one person's brain, is over whelming for us when we were not taught that way. So I'm like wow the Jewish people had it turf I send lots of blessings to them, and you too Brandon

I know...All Glory to God. I'm so pleased that He is so pleased with you land your ministry. One aspect of parables that impresses me is the Mercy of God, in that, what some cannot hear or comprehend, He will not condemn those without understanding. Like you said; "He will meet us where we're at."

First off, I love that you focus so much on Mark... given this Gospel is the earliest of the canonicals and, thus, likely to be the most historically accurate and less affected by later exaggeration and developing dogma (such as we find throughout, for example, John's Gospel). So kudos for that. :) Now... as specific to Jesus's parables... I wish to point out something no one else seems to have hit upon that frankly changes everything we thought we knew about why the Gospels have Jesus teaching in nothing BUT parables... and that is particularly found hidden in plain sight in Mark Ch. 4, vss.10-12: 10 When he was alone, those around him with the Twelve asked him about the parables. 11 He said to them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. BUT TO THOSE OUTSIDE, EVERYTHING IS IN PARABLES. 12 “so that although they look THEY MAY LOOK BUT NOT SEE, and although they hear THEY MAY HEAR BUT NOT UNDERSTAND..." And yet... was it not the Twelve whom Jesus taught ONLY in parables? And is it not also true these same alleged "apostles" never understood a single one of them (e.g., read the very next verse [13]!)? And while claiming to have been given "the secret of the kingdom of God," yet do we find any such "secret" explained in the Gospels they claimed to have received? The point here is simple and clear: if Jesus stated He taught His Outsiders "everything ... in parables" that "they may hear but not understand" ... and we find Jesus teaching the Twelve "everything...in parables" that they never understood ... what does that make those same "apostles"? Insiders... or Outsiders? Think about it... take all the time you need. ;)

What's wrong with John?
@FatherVampire
@FatherVampire Жыл бұрын
@@kira7035 ... Thanks for the question! An online search will result in endless (okay, not quite endless) results pointing out the many strange differences between John's Gospel and the three Synoptic Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke. Whereas the Synoptics appear to have all been derived from some lost Source Gospel (called the Quelle ["Q"] Gospel), John's appears independently written by a far later (hence likely less accurate) author who spends the gospel almost rhapsodizing on a Jesus who acts and speaks far differently... almost Homer-esque as a mythological hero. John's Gospel was composed decades after the Synoptic Gospels... and long after Saul's brand of Christianity had become well developed, it's Christology well established. Unlike in the Synoptics, John's Jesus speaks in Shakespearean-esque soliloquies of poetic perfection... and acts as though every event is foreseen and pre-planned... and with Jesus in full charge, throughout. It's a Jesus as concocted not by actual mid 1st-Century history... but by 2nd-Century Paulinian Christology and mythology. Now, I'm not saying there is nothing historical in John's Gospel; I think there may well be some great additional historical details there. But we must be very careful to recognize that when John's Gospel deviates significantly from the Synoptics or paints Jesus as overly heroic... we're witnessing more Christological propaganda than we are reliable history. One small example of just such a non-historical deviation, as I have previously pointed out, is the Roman SPEAR supposedly thrust into Jesus' side at the end of the Crucifixion (the "Spear of Destiny" as occultists later call it). Did you know that Spear appears nowhere else but in John's Gospel? Directly contradicting John, ALL THE OTHER Gospels (the Synoptics) speak only of Jesus' hands and feet being pierced. And in them when Jesus allegedly appears to the "apostles" after His resurrection, we find NO MENTION of any wound in Jesus' side. Instead, Jesus instructs the "apostles" to feel only the nail marks in His hands and feet... while in John, Jesus also instructs them to also feel the spear wound in His side. So if Jesus actually had a spear thrust into His side, why do none of the three earlier Gospels mention it... either at Crucifixion or when Jesus appeared to the "apostles," thereafter? How could all THREE miss such a key detail... TWICE! Obviously, John's Gospel ... written at least 70 - 100 years after the event ... invented it. And that is what's wrong with John's Gospel.

@@FatherVampire I appreciate your comment and I may read it again or do my own research. As for his side being pierced this is parallel to Adam's deep sleep and rib being taken. Adam said "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man." Jesus called himself repeatedly the Son of Man which in Hebrew is Ben Adam. He is also known as bridegroom and John the Baptist said The Bridegroom had the Bride. In Ephesians there is charge for Men to Love their wives as Christ loved the Church and gave himself for it. In fact the Crown of Thorns though it's blatant mockery it's something that sprouts hope within christians. Remember when God cursed Adam. "Cursed is the ground for your sake." Thorns and Thistles sprouted out from the cursed ground. Peter in Acts said Jesus was hung on a Tree. Paul said he became a curse for us and in the law it says "Cursed is everyone hanging on a tree." Paul to the Corinthians talking about the natural and the spiritual body he even contrasted the First Adam from the Last Adam which is Christ. The reason why he is named Jesus was for this purpose to save us from sins or Chattah our offenses to God's Law. When did Adam died, when he disobeyed and ate from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge Good and Evil. Parables are found in the other books like in the Prophets God spoke in Parables. Jesus being heroic or courageous makes sense when you know his full identity. He came to deliver to pardon to love he overcame evil with good. Yes there some greek to get through when reading the new testament. However remember that Jesus is of Israel who has their own history and culture, expectation and Law. Thanks again for sharing Shalom. (May wellfare reach you and may you be kept from Calamity.) I also use a great share of metaphors since I was literature student.

@@kira7035 ... Thank you. And yes, I am aware of all the many religious interpretations, symbologies and beliefs associated with Paulinian Christology. And yes, parables (allegories) are found everywhere in ancient writings... from Aesop's Fables to today. Yet Jesus stated He spoke ONLY in parables to those who were on the Outside... while revealing the Mystery of the Kingdom of God to His true disciples. So... if the "apostles" were numbered with those true disciples... where are Jesus' INNER teachings on the Mystery of the Kingdom of God in their Gospels? Why do we find nothing of this explained anywhere in the New Testament... if they were, indeed, His true disciples? As example: Where in the New Testament do we find any explanation for the seeming contradictory statements by Jesus that the Kingdom of God is found both within you and ALREADY found also all around you... yet the World sees it not? This couldn't mean the Christian Church or its "Gospel" as such had yet to be established; Jesus had only just begun His "ministry." Thus, Jesus was referring to some unknown "Kingdom of God" already established on Earth. Yet also something existing within a person. Small wonder it was viewed as a "Mystery." Can you explain it? Don't feel badly; for 2,000 years NO ONE has been able to explain it. And yet... it's explanation becomes crystal clear when you fully and CORRECTLY understand who and what the historical Yeshua (Jesus) was... and what His true mission was... and to whom it was actually directed. The false "apostles" never understood His parables... much less the Mystery Jesus both represented and fulfilled. Thus, neither does Christianity to this day. Only when you follow the evidences... NOT the religion... is the Truth revealed... and indeed... "...few there be that find it." I am a historian and a researcher, not a religious believer. For me, it's the actual evidences and where following such logically and scientifically leads that matter. Anyone can assume the destination and then imagine or believe "evidences" as they choose so as to safely arrive at that already-predetermined destination. It's how the credulous are always so easily deceived by those seeking to fool them and rule over them. It's how Columbus fooled the West Indians, how Cortez fooled Montezuma, how Pizarro fooled the Incans... and on and on. In every case, they learned the beliefs of the indigenous peoples... and used those beliefs to claim themselves as the very gods prophesied by their beliefs... thus having it seemed they fulfilled all such. And instead of thinking critically, the ignorant masses believed them... and were thus slaughtered and subjugated easily. And today, Christians do the same... never questioning what they read in scripture but, instead, rashly considering every word as though ti somehow proceeded directly from God, Himself... even when written by false "apostles" who were not Jesus' true disciples. You are of course welcome to disagree... and I'm sure you do. I wish you well and encourage you to seek and follow the evidences and do the research for yourself. Thanks and best wishes to you.
