Yesterday I went to sitla Mata mandir of haridwar, Uttrakhand... This temple is about the place where Sati ji burnt her body in fire... Temple is beautiful but some peoples (specially girls) visited with modern western fashion clothes... Temple is place where you can pray and share everything happening your life with God.. but some peoples make it fashion hub..! Seriously? I don't understand that type of peoples..

As in Bhagvad gita Krishna says~ when a man gives up all varieties of desire for sense gratification, which arise from mental concoction, and when his mind, thus purified, finds satisfaction in the self alone, then he is said to be in pure transcendental consciousness. So we should not unnecessarily waste our time and energy in judging others. When our mind is free of such pre-conceptions and concoctions about others, then we would be able to see Krishna in every living entity. Hare krishna!

For me the temple I feel spoke to me is the Jagsnath Mandir at the Orissa Cultural center of Houston Texas … I had planned a domestic Yatra at the same time my mother was doing char dham Yatra in India and my flight was at the beginning of hurricane week… furthermore I had only planned for a day trip to Houston (which wouldn’t have been enough) and I got to have a five day trip due to the hurricane in Florida
