Almost fifty years in the Bay Area and I'm preparing to make my great escape! My family goes back generations out here. I grew up, played, worked, dated and celebrated in the city, but those days are over. I actually started hanging in sacramento and you know how lame that is! Tweaky Sac is now better than Fenty Frisco! I haven't crossed the bridge in 6+ years unless i had business to take care of and that is a straight trip. No stops at my favorite food places, beaches, piers, parks, etc... My nephew and his friends got robbed military style by three carloads of masked and heavily armed men. Two cars trapped them in and one car blocked the street and did lookout! Layed 4 of them out on the sidewalk at gunpoint and took phones, emptied their pockets and took their shoes off of their feet! Midday in the "good part" of SF! Police were not that surprised or concerned when they finally arrived! It's no longer the place to be! If you vote for this, you are part of the problem! The days of clam chowder, chicken skewers and magic shows at Ghirardelli are long gone!

i currently live in the far east bay. my apartment row has a homeless couple living behind it with 4 dogs leashed to the wrought iron fence that separates our property from a railroad area. these dogs; 2 are big and 2 are small. they bark all night with an annoying mix of yip yip yip and roar roar roar. it wakes me up an hour apart all night long and i'm not the only one. i've contacted animal control repeatedly and the police twice over this. they don't care. i don't know why they collect a paycheck.

I’ve lived in Oakland most of my life and I used to go with my friends from San Leandro and hang out and chill in SF with our girls in the Westfield mall. Over time we got see how the homelessness began to boom and the Tenderloin slowly grow into what it is now. In 2000 I parked my new Acura Integra on the streets of San Fransisco for one WEEK - while I flew out to Canada. I wasn't that worried about my car back then. Not today. I NEVER drive my car to Oakland or San Francisco. Never. I just take BART instead - and even then there's always that chance you'll be trapped in a tube with a total whack-job (it's happened before).
